    Pros

Flexible. Free movies. Great supervisor who serves as a mentor. Great co-workers and great employees. Constant changes keeps things fresh and different. This particular theatre is beautiful, current and well kept.

    Cons

    Working holidays can be tough.

Although the constant changes keep things fresh it can also be difficult to keep up with all of them as well.

    Advice to Management

Having worked at multiple theatres for a variety of supervisors, I wish there was more constancy among them all.

I have been working at Regal Entertainment part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

the job itself is quite easy, the perks of working there make everything worth it: free movies for a movie lover is something worth burning yourself repeatedly on the popper haha
the customers are a blast to talk most of the time, and transactions are typically quite fast.
you rotate positions so you're never just doing the same thing over and over again- there's a good variety.

    Cons

the movie industry isn't doing so hot, so hours are tight and people often get sent home early
they're open very late so you get off at either 11 or 12 for closing shifts
they are open year round, so you have to work on all holidays and winter break is the busiest time of the year, so you have to work through most of your break - which also makes for a huge paycheck though

I worked at Regal Entertainment part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Free (but limited) movie tickets
    -Employee discount on foods
-Decent starter job for young people

    Cons

-Position will have you doing multiple jobs outside of what you applied for (For example, I was under the impression I would be a theater Usher but often was called to clean bathrooms on down time, make food and work the register whenever they wanted, stock the supplies from the backdoor garage to the storage room, all for the low low pay of minimum wage. What made me want to quit was them having me go from cleaning disgusting bathrooms with nothing more than a sweep pan and a dirty broom to serving people food immediately after)
    -Low pay for demanding work
-Job roles can be really dull and draining
-Can never be seen resting or sitting in any of the positions

    Advice to Management

Understand how people in certain roles aren't interchangeable with each other.
