    Pros

Excellent paid time off. Benefits and pay are decent. Great work-to-life balance. Executive Management team is AWESOME! Flexible schedules. Fun company outings and holiday party. Executive team keeps you up-to-date about the business through Town Halls.

    Cons

High turn-over in Real Estate Accounting Department. Some of the management team in Real Estate Accounting are impersonable and there is some favoritism. Not a lot of opportunity for advancement within the department.

    Advice to Management

The executive management team and HR needs to investigate and determine why the high turnover in Real Estate Accounting.

I worked at Regency Centers full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great executive leadership, vision and open communication. They track and communicate progress on strategic goals every quarter.
Everyone really cares about work-life balance and leaving a healthy life.
I was presented with great training opportunities and learning opportunities and was always treated well.
The President of the company texts me, stop by my office or calls me every year on my birthday even if it falls on a weekend.

    Cons

My direct supervisor could spend more time getting to know the entire team and coaching his direct reports but it isn't really a horrible situation.
VP level gets what they want, no questions ask.
    No advancement available.

    Advice to Management

    More governance.

I worked at Regency Centers as a contractor

    Pros

Regency Centers is a family family oriented company, as it was started by a family who is still involved since the company went public. The majority of the employees in corporate headquarters and in remote offices found coast-to-coast are amazing, smiling happy people. Like on a tv advert. I thought it was for show but they are all REALLY happy to go to work each day and treat each other with a great deal of courtesy and respect, which leads to making the company extremely profitable.

    Cons

The few bad eggs sprinkled across the offices need to be noted and investigated. When a certain position turns over at regular and frequent intervals, it may be the staff in the office, not the new person(s) in the position.

    Advice to Management

Do your homework, get some background and be sure you are putting people in the roles where their assets will work the best for the employee AND the company.

    Pros

Good company to start at for entry level property management position. Reasonable salary and bonus opportunities. Fair work/life balance. Good health and welfare for employees.

    Cons

Not much room for advancement within regional offices if you are in the property management department. You will most likely have to relocate and wait for someone to leave in order to be promoted.
