I have been working at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals full-time

    Pros

First place I have ever worked that cares about the well being of their people. We get barbecues, breakfast every Friday, a decent holiday party every year and the week after Christmas off. If you have an idea to improve your group or department it's encouraged. Plenty of room to grow as you gain experience.

    Cons

Training and communication are still the biggest issues that need tackling on all levels.

    Training is the biggest issue.

I have been working at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lots of opportunity, transforming company in a growth phase so lots to do and one can run with what they’re given

    Cons

In IT morale is low because leadership is lacking. The person heading the department lacks the leadership skills necessary to nurture and retain the best talent. Good people are thinking about leaving and the worst are just biding their time until their stock options vest. A truly talented leader could turn things around here but I don’t see any signs that will happen.

    Advice to Management

Red flags are everywhere. Heed them.

I have been working at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A fellow employee alerted me to the negative posts about about sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll. I work in manufacturing as a bps. I originally hired into our warehouse group. I am positive the negative posts were written by a vp fired for the behavior he now reports. His behavior is why I moved departments. Company scores for work and culture are high. Management goes out of their way to help employees with anything. Speak to a current employee to get the real story.

    Cons

You will have interesting work but you will work hard. Too much OT for me although we just brought up a new production area. IT systems are antiquated. Too many young people in roles wanting experience.

    Advice to Management

OT under control. Throw away any other rotten apples like the guy posting bad reviews.

I have been working at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Very good salary
    Good pipeline
    Continuous improvement

    Cons

    Too lean for too long
Middle management is asked to do too much
Work life balance for managers is getting worse
HR provides many outs for direct reports not to be held accountable
The percentage of new workforce is decreasing in overall experience
    Experience is being less respected.

    Advice to Management

You need to support your middle managers and more experience employees better or they will leave at a more rapid rate. I have been a manager for several years and during the last 2 years the environment has shifted making it harder to hold direct reports accountable.

    Pros

You receive good pay as a temp

    Cons

Temps are overworked, they don’t get to participate in anything regeneron employees do, this makes you feel extremely left out and unappreciated for the work that you do.

    Advice to Management

Include temps in all activities that regeneron employees get to be a part of.
