I have been working at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

When the company was on the way up the stock options were very lucrative – truly golden handcuffs.

    Cons

The BDM department has fallen apart due to neglect over the past year or so. BDM Management always takes a guilty until you prove yourself innocent approach. Years of accomplishments are somehow forgotten and ignored when a promotion is requested (never given). In Clinical, there is no work/life balance, when you are employed at Regn your life is Regn.

    Advice to Management

When so many members of a dept leave, you must look to their immediate management for the cause. People don't leave a company - they leave managers.

    Pros

Fast and Dynamic work place that allows for plenty of opportunities for those fresh into the work place. Some really cool science is going on here and not all companies can truly admit this. Good pay, great benefits, awesome amount of PTO.

    Cons

Because of the massive number of drugs being pushed through the pipeline, the work/life balance leans a little more towards work. It's a grinding pace.

    Advice to Management

Keep what has made you successful to this point.

I worked at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals full-time

    Pros

Great company products and pipelines, competitive salaries, stock options still valuable

    Cons

BDM management can't figure out how to manage human resources; Management tend to focus on weakness of personnel (resulting in high turnover rate); Some manager (technically weak) promotes politicking and maneuvering, exhibited dishonest behaviors, but became influential in the department unfortunately.
