I have been working at Region One ESC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are plenty of job vacancies available to take on a daily basis. Since Region One works with several school districts you're never without a day's work. You could literally work every day if you want to. However, the hours are still flexible; you're only really required to work one Monday or Friday a week. The benefits are also great! They pay a large portion of it as "employer contribution."

    Cons

The pay is lower compared to other school districts.

You have the same schedule as a teacher with vacations and obtain a great knowledge of the educational field. They help you strongly to achieve and learn the necessary skills a teacher should know.

    Cons

At times it is very difficult to fin a job opening since it is only a temporary teacher position.
