    Pros

Great co workers, great customers, learned plenty. Twenty words twenty words twenty words twenty words twenty words twenty words done

    Cons

CBM is only about PE, all she wants to hear is that you made lots of production every day. I didn't take this job to just sell credit cards

    Advice to Management

    Worry less about PE

I have been working at Regions Financial full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great people for the most part. Great culture. Lower management have all been great in my experience. Sales environment.

    Cons

Benefits have been getting worse with higher cost.
Incentives have been getting more challenging qtr after qtr.
    Incentive payout has dropped.

    Advice to Management

I believe the top producers should be recognized more and paid out what they deserve. If meeting these challenging goals those should be we rewarded. Only a small percentage of associates are hitting, so why lower incentive payouts. Hire more within the company.

It looks like Regions is about to be bought out or merge with another bank. They are closing my department to cut expenses.

I have been working at Regions Financial full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great work life balance. Regions really allows you to work in the community by providing financial education classes. Great health benefits and perks for the employees.

    Cons

Meeting unattainable sales goals. Astronomical sales goals are put into place but the requirements to achieve the profit equivalent for each product to qualify

    Pros

Get to work with a great team!

    Cons

Pressure to sell. High call volume with back to back calls.

    Advice to Management

Too much concentration on sales and less on customer service and satisfaction. Figure out a way to get the call wait times shorter for the customer so we wont to have to hear all say about how long they had to wait.

I worked at Regions Financial full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

good benefits, can purchase additional time off.

    Cons

HIGH PRESSURE SALES. no question. Extremely unethical behavior condoned by top management. They hide behind a financial roadmap, and Texarkana market has turned into Wells Fargo (in its hayday) atmosphere.

    Advice to Management

Do not treat bankers and employees like salesman. Also, when you hire young bankers, they almost always have to hire outside the bank for management positions.

I worked at Regions Financial (Less than a year)

    Pros

    There nothing's good to say.

    Cons

Unrealistic sales goals. Leadership is nonexistent. Saturdays are the worst. During the interview they will tell you that you will cut time during the week to work the 4 hours (always ends up being like 5 hours) on your Saturdays but that's not true, it becomes a 'maybe' thing and you are forced to work overtime. The pay is crap. It is not worth the stress. You get vacation days and sick days, but they like to get mad if you use it.
