I have been working at Regis College full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Lived mission. Engaging colleagues. Impassioned students.

    Cons

Like many places, some long time employees are resistant to growth/change.

    Advice to Management

Provide more transparency and collaboration during decision making processes for a greater sense of inclusion and ownership of outcomes.

I worked at Regis College full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

    - A few really good, decent people - pretty campus

    Cons

    - too many “upper management” types and not enough staff to actually do the work - implement MAJOR projects (such as the online programs) without much planning or consideration of infrastructure - certain departments seemed to think they knew how to better run other departments - the student services center seemed to be imploding - was a very toxic environment. It’s obvious the academic council doesn’t get along so everything...

    Advice to Management

If there’s turmoil at the top, then there’s turmoil at the bottom. It’s time the President/AC/VPAA take a look at themselves and how their own agendas have played into the spiraling downfall of a once respected school. And how can you preach “Love thy neighbor” then turn a corner and throw them under a bus? Values, honesty and integrity have been replaced by egos, agendas and finger-pointing. What an absolute shame.

I have been working at Regis College full-time

    Pros

Dunkin Donuts on campus, I guess.

    Cons

Where do we begin. Regis has transformed into a college that not only tolerates hate but has turned into a corporate greed machine. There is ZERO PROFESSIONAL Development! The few times the school does make the attempt it's a joke led by school leaders. Regis lacks direction in every aspect. Regis is not inclusive at all, very Homophobic and non accepting of differences. Legit may have less than 5 People of Color who...

I have been working at Regis College full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

In this profit-driven era, the College continues to try to serve its' mission.

    Cons

Dysfunctional does not begin to capture the atmosphere. The VPAA makes Trump seem reasonable. There is a climate of well-informed paranoia. For a small institution, faculty and staff can go months or years without ever interacting with one another. Academic policies are contradictory and out of step with peer institutions. Administrators have multiple support staff. The entire faculty shares one who is not entirely...

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring more 'leaders'. Four schools is four too many. The administrative bloat is sinking the ship.

    Pros

Great spirit of collaboration and support for new initiatives. Friendly environment.

    Cons

Salaries are kept below average unless you are a star. Disconnection between some key units.

    Advice to Management
