    Pros

    Flexible work schedule, benefits, phone allowance, trendy work environment, stylist focused

    Cons

    There is a lot of recruiting, decision making is slow and time consuming, it's difficult to get answers, the work never stops...this role needs to be available 24/7

    Advice to Management

    Streamline the communication. Get recruiters out in the field

    Good hours. Nothing else good to put on here.

    Cons

    Terrible management, slow, weren't try to their word.

    Advice to Management

    Provide better training to employees, hire better managers for stores. Evaluate management in general.

    Pros

    You can take yourself as far as you can dream. I started as a stylist and continue to thrive with goals of advancement. Our leaders care about our well being and a life/work balance. When issues arrive, communication is key. The company has taken a great turn in the right direction since 2013 and although change takes patience and time, I see them in our future, one step at a time. This is not the same Regis I worked for in 1996. It is now a company team that I work with

    Cons

    Being such a large company, seeing change takes more time than some are willing to put in and wait. People in HR and operations seem to change departments or districts too often to build a strong understanding of the field leaders, breaking down comunication of expectations.

    Advice to Management

    I love the fact that you ask questions and listen to your field and salon leaders. Try and keep the same HR coordinators in the same territory for longer periods of time.

    Pros

    Not a walking based salon. Love that I make more than my projected salary, I've built a strong clientele, you have to want to work to make money. Family/team atmosphere. Provide tools(if you want to use them) incentive points for performing well. 401k

    Cons

    Stylists that are quick to leave instead of expressing their unhappiness. Health insurance plan not that great, I paid A LOT out of pocket. I don't have an actual office, so I'm constantly carrying a heavy bag with me of things that don't fit in my file cabinet.

    Advice to Management

    Get better health insurance plans. Give managers an office or locked closet. Signing bonus for stylists that refer new stylists

    Pros

    Regis cares about their employees "HAIR" is what we do and who we are! Paid vacation, paid educational training with top talent, plenty of room for growth and to have a life long career.

    Good place to start out and ADVANCE into a more higher paid department .

    Cons

    Will not like it if you do not out your own efforts in to become better than what you were.

    Advice to Management

    Hire more responsible stylists. Too high of a turn over rate.

    World's leader in beauty salons and cosmetology education. We offer a wide range of haircare services, including haircuts, styling and color - as well as a wide selection of nationally recognized professional haircare products.

    Loved the company and loved the benefits! Free salon services and great work hours. Also worked throughout many locations and had incredible managers at every location!

    Regis is currently changing the way they are looking at the stylist. The company is making sure that it is now centered around the stylist and making the work environment better for the stylist.

    Currently working on evening out the pay scale for all brands.
