    Pros

    Great hours. Great way to build clientele. Free education

    Cons

    They fail to give the salon the correct amount of supplies. We always ran out of color. Management would get yelled at by upper management saying we wasted color. We did not.

    Great Salon ruined by brand takeover

    Pros

    The stylists I worked with had been in the location for over 5 years each with the longest having been there 20 years. They loved the salon and knew his each others clients in a very small town way despite the salon being in a very populated suburb of a major city. Regis paid much better then their sister brand Mastercuts and I felt more appreciated by the clientele.

    Cons

    The brand had been sold to a new company from Regis Corp and they ruined the salons. I was previously at a Mastercuts that had been closed down and was transferred to a Regis as it was the next open location. The new company stopped sending products including color making it necessary for the stylists to buy it themselves from their own pockets just to keep providing service. They didn't care about any issues the salon had (inventory, cash issues, repairs) and systematically kept eliminating management until our salon was overseen by a regional manager 4 hours away.

    Don’t Waste Your Time

    It’s a get buy job, and you can make sub par to decent tips.

    Cons

    This company used to be good years ago. Don’t believe that matrix scale. If you know math 1 plus one equals two all day. The more you work the more they take. Management will steal your numbers if they feel they need some extra commission. The company only reward their managers, the staff gets a salon bonus and it’s split. Like an item no one really needs like a Dust Buster to sweep the salon floor, and the manager pockets the rest. That actually happened.

    My team and guest . I had the best district leader for 13 years

    Pros

    I learned new ways to do hair, enjoyed meeting different kinds of people and was happy I could help boost people confidence about how they look and feel about themselves.

    Cons

    The things that the particular salon offered was things that I enjoyed but also the things they didn't offer would've allowed myself and the salon to be able to grow.
