I have been working at Regis Salon full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The company cares about who you are and invests in making you a better leader at every level. Benefits are great, health, dental, and you can prepare for your future by moving into the job that you feel fits you the best.

    Cons

Like every other company, we have changed the people leading the corporation which changes how we run the busines. But at the end of the day, we make people beautiful, so the rest is just how we get there!

    Advice to Management

Do more radio and television adds for our division it would help drive traffic and help with hiring.

I have been working at Regis Salon full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I've been with the company 11 years and have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience with Regis! In my 11 years I have been a Master stylist, Artistic Educator, and Salon Leader! Regis has so many opportunities to advance within their company! When I showed interest in becoming an Educator my Salon Leader went out of her way to get me an interview to make that possible! I also showed interest in Management and my District Leader coached me so i was ready when a position was available! The company cares about each employee and their success! Coaching is always available if your looking to advance within the company. Ongoing education is also available several times a year so your always on top of the latest trends! They also have great tools for building your clientele quickly!

    Cons

A Regis Commerical would be awesome!

    Advice to Management

As a current Manager of Tampa Salon- 3981. Coaching is key! If you coach your team and give them the skills they need to advance to the next level they will be successful! Also consistency! Always follow up with your team members ask them what goals they have and how you can help them achieve that!

    Pros

They provide product when it comes to chemicals, walk ins are great on most busy days. Good way to build clientele.

    Cons

Very difficult to get promoted, they cheat you out of your breaks. Unfair procedures, no advanced training. The little training they do have, you're expected to pay for.

    Advice to Management

Treat stylists with respect and follow regulations.

    Pros

Great staff, great products, accommodating hours. Staff is highly trained. Can't say enough about Joan, Sam & Mugino. Love Biolage and Matrix. Not happy with continued management poor decisions.

    Cons

Treatment of employees by District Mgr is awful.
Management is questionable if they keep agreeing with district manager's poor decisions.

    Advice to Management

Do not threaten employees to come to work during a blizzard. This is the second time this year I have seen these employees drive all the way in to the Portsmouth RTE 1 in-store, with no customers waiting or business for hours, and then have to drive home in emergent conditions. The Labor Board should be contacted. #StellaBlizzardVIctims
