I have been working at RehabCare full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The hours are flexible and I like SOME of the therapist. My boss is really nice and understanding. The patients are really nice and the gym is a nice size.

    Cons

I was low balled on my salary. I am not a fan of the iPads and the productivity levels are extremely high (90%). We are not able to buy basic things.Ex: Boifreeze, long handle reachers, theraband, theraputty, or shoe horns. Also, as a new grad, I still have a lot I need to learn and I am not here. They pretty much threw an iPad in my hand, told me to keep my productivity level high, and pushed me out the gym.

I have been working at RehabCare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Work with a great team. Flexible hours.

    Cons

No increase in salary. High productivity expectations. Benefits are expensive for family. Such a large company that provides health care should be able to make healthcare more affordable for their employees.

    Advice to Management

Concentrate more on customer service than productivity

I have been working at RehabCare full-time

    Pros

    Flexibility in scheduling, large company,

    Cons

They ate always pushing for more therapy on patients whether needed or not. Penny pinching. Will not buy new equipment. No resources for assistance with managing benefits. No 401k. Documentation is on mini iPad. Software is confusing.

    Advice to Management

Buy new equipment. Listen to your therapists. If a pt isn't appropriate for therapy, allow a discharge. If a pt needs reduced minutes, reduce them.
