I worked at Reis (More than a year)

    Pros

The people I met during my time here at REIS were great. It made the job more tolerable. Management was overall understanding and fair. Pay was fair, bonuses offered at the end of the quarter depending on performance. Pretty good health benefits. Decent vacation policy - work for days off. Sometimes you would be lucky and deal with friendly/helpful contacts.

    Cons

Very tedious work in the Research Associate position (I believe that title has now been changed). When I first signed on, I thought it would be a great balance between phone calls and web research, however that was not the case. Had to meet quotas in calls (about 150+)/surveys per day, either or, but meeting both was highly stressed. Over my time here these quotas started to become strictly enforced. Web-based research was kept to a minimum, until crunch time at quarter close. Be prepared to deal with not so happy contacts; need to have thick skin and not take things too personally. You will be on the phone pretty much all day and that not all survey information will be given.

    I worked at Reis full-time

    Pros

Friendly co-workers and a relaxed environment. Get your work done and go home every day right at 5 o'clock.

    Cons

Some tedious work and tasks involved for entry level positions. Not the most exciting work one can be doing. Salaries could also be a bit higher.

    Pros

The environment can be friendly or stiff depending on your department. It's a great place to start a career, as Reis is know for giving chances. which is why most employees range from early 20's to early 30's. If you are looking for stability 9-5 Mon-Fri this is your place. The work life balance is great.

    Cons

It is hard to be promoted.

    Advice to Management

None really I am content with them. Brian and Mike are very effective and diligent managers they know how to communicate with employees to reach and maintain goals. Their communication is great.
