I have been working at Reis full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Started in an entry level role and in one year I was promoted. If you work hard, make sure to cover your markets, and make it known you are interested in more responsibilities, there are opportunities to advance. I didn't think I was interested in commercial real estate until working here but now I would like to stay in this industry moving forward.

My coworkers are great and management is understanding. From what I've researched, salary is on par with the rest of the industry.

    Cons

No cons from me. If you enjoy research and are interested in real estate, this is a great place to learn.

I have been working at Reis (More than a year)

    Pros

If you work hard and show that you have a willingness to learn, you will get noticed and be compensated for it. The lunch break as well as the morning and afternoon breaks really help to give analysts enough time to unwind. The team goals are all reasonable and achievable.

    Cons

Certain departments are a bit quieter than others.

    Advice to Management

Continue to compensate the individuals who work hard and really take pride in their product.

I have been working at Reis full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Excellent place to work, especially for recent graduates. This company is currently expanding. From shared, Reis will most likely continue to expand in revenue, creditability, recognition, total employees, etc. until 2016 - based on their direction. Excellent co-workers including team leaders and directors.

All research positions have goals like every other job. It's a simple 9-5, if you are capable of going in to work and completing tasks/responsibilities then it's you will be fine. An excellent way to learn about the industry.

    Cons

Expanding but needs more diverse job positions that brings innovation, which possibly may happen as the company expands.

    Advice to Management

Reis should become more digital which will help in revenue and even make work easier for employees or clients.

I have been working at Reis full-time

    Pros

After the first week, I knew I made the right move to join Reis. Management really cares about excelling their associates' talents.

    Cons

The company changing for the better; just keep an open mind. Rome wasn't built in a day after all. Benefits can take 60-90 days to kick in. Hopefully that changes sooner than later.

    Advice to Management

Don't forget to make personal connections. People feel motivated when they feel like their work has purpose and impact.
