I have been working at Reliant Funding full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Authentic people, live by motto of company "hard work and great attitude". Surrounded by people that are positive and work their tails off. I love that. You are expected to focus at work and then enjoy your life outside of work. People that don't focus or want to browse the internet won't make it here but I like that. Hard work is recognized and that recognition feels great here. Lazy does not work here for very long. Company listens to employees but doesn't take excuses, also a good thing. Not much BS here. Fun place to be. Music, food, friends, good people. Nice office, clean, modern and well maintained. Good environment to come to work everyday.

    Cons

Laid back fun vibe is often misunderstood as laid back. Company is fun and casual but expectations are high. Maybe not a con but often misunderstood by staff. Covid changed the atmosphere a bit, impossible to avoid but I miss the camaraderie of engaging more closely with peers. I am sure Reliant will get back to this feeling of connection but at the moment it feels less connected than it did.

I worked at Reliant Funding full-time for more than a year

    Pros

After seeing all the negative reviews, I figured I had to post about my experience because not all of the negative reviews are accurate. The reviews are correct in the fact that the job itself is difficult, I will admit it is not a slam dunk easy product to sell. BUT if you can learn to sell it, it's a ton of fun and I absolutely disagree that there is a lack of training, support, and resources at this company. My time at Reliant was some of the hardest times in my career because I was changing and growing and learning so much - and extreme change and hyper-growth can be stressful and uncomfortable. But if you when you get over that hump and evolve, you reap the rewards and benefits financially, personally, and professionally. The one thing I appreciated about the company, was throughout my year there I noticed a lot of talent being brought in to implement changes to make our jobs easier. Credit and approval policies were loosened up so we would have the best pricing within the industry, underwriting managers were hired to streamline backend processes so our approval time was significantly quicker than our competitors, they were constantly exploring new marketing tools and strategies to diversify leads that were coming in. New sales trainers were brought in to provide reps with another perspective/personality to work with. To say that this company was not willing to invest a large number of resources into top talent to improve the company from end to end is a lie or maybe these reviews are from employees that were not there long enough to recognize the changes being made. After leaving I did realize the work-life balance was REAL there is something to be said about a 40-hour maximum workweek and if you're doing well/your manager s cool you have even more flexibility which I miss I believe that a lot of these negative reviews are employees that did not stay very long and everyone is entitled to their own opinion and experience. What I would say after staying for over a year, is If you're willing to jump into something that is a bit of a challenge, and if you believe in your abilities to succeed - the on-target earnings are true and there is a lot of amazing potential here. It's a more difficult product to sell, but with some of the most competitive pricing/marketing in the industry, you are put in a position to succeed if you are coachable and adaptable. I left this company feeling like I had some of the best training and preparation for any sort of product within any sort of industry because of my experience here and I felt it was a disservice not to share my experience.

    Cons

If you aren't good at math or calculating simple finances easily, then this job is not for you

    Pros

Good hours, and that’s about it

    Cons

Absolutely horrible and ridiculous company that should honestly be shut down. They heavily market small businesses using fear tactics, and the majority of your day will consist of getting cussed out on the phone by consumers calling in about horrible marketing material they’ve received that makes it sound like their identity was stolen. Warm and hot leads are solely for the “favorites” of the company, everyone else gets to cold calling all day long. Management literally lies through their teeth about everything, and it’s a very hostile environment. They lie so much that a new class of 15 hires will literally be gone within 4 months, because there is NO money to be made there. Unless you are comfortable lying to people all day long, and aggressive sales. CEO is full of Himself and constantly curses. Unprofessional environment. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place, trust me.
