I worked at Remedy Intelligent Staffing part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The location is convenient but besides from that they only offered cery few jobs that were not preferable

    Cons

Stay away from this dump! 3 weeks ago I came here and they acted like they had lots of jobs. They only have a handful of jobs and they are NOT desirable! I worked two days. I was treated much better at Noll.

I worked at Remedy Intelligent Staffing part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I can't really say much in that capacity. The location was pretty decent if I'm being honest. My personal experience otherwise wasn't that great.

    Cons

They have very few jobs to offer. They imply they have plenty of assignments and tell you to call tomorrow. Then they dodge your calls. I cut my losses and got a great gig through Celebrity.

    Advice to Management

Tell your people to be honest about available positions. Being upfront about that is very important to your workers and their time.

    Advice to Management

Advice to management is listen more and stop being so judgmental. Advice to owner, hire a whole new management

I worked at Remedy Intelligent Staffing full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The keep New York State Department of Labor busy with compliance audits.

    Cons

When my assignment went from an hourly to a management assignment without a change in pay, they did not support me. They pretended that they didn't understand the state definition of hourly vs management .
Pay was often late, violating state laws of hourly employees.

Impossible to get a paystub- staff was rude if you expected them to follow state law..
Never filled out state wage paperwork, I got ripped off for shift differential.
Staff hung up on me when I requested a pay stub.
Yelled at me when I got sick once on a three month assignment- never late, never left early and always worked ot as asked.
    Staff lies
Took 2 months when I got shorted 4 hours ot, the staff did everything to try to convince me that I didn't deserve it.

    Advice to Management

Stop using debit cards that cost money to pay people. They mostly employ folks who were previously incarcerated and they take advantage of their institutionalized shame. They take advantage of these folks while allowing their partners to profit from their policies. Behaving with an ounce of integrity would be nice.

I worked at Remedy Intelligent Staffing full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Found work quickly. Had me on the job within a few days. Nice staff. Insurance and basic benefits. Could work worse places.

    Cons

Pay is awful. Got paid $20-30 for a full 8 hour shift of work. I know the employer they send you to determines a lot of this, but after my check from Remedy cleared, it was far less than minimum wage. Communication is awful. Told me I was being made temp-to-hire, never informed the employer or talked to them about it. Wasn't scheduled to work for almost a month because Remedy thought the employer was scheduling me. When the issue was brought to their attention, they apologized and agreed to put me back on their schedule. Great, except I got sent to the bottom of the list. Only called me for work once or twice a week after that. I made more money collecting unemployment. Decided to seek employment elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

When you tell somebody they are temp-to-hire, you need to communicate that with the actual company. Like, who decided I was temp-to-hire? Why was I told that, but nobody at the employer had any clue about it? Also, when you are only scheduling someone to work once or twice a week, you need to lower the fees or it becomes less than minimum wage. I was literally losing money on gas driving to work. If an employee can't actually make money working for your business, nobody is going to want to work for you.
