    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Renaissance Entreprenuership Center full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The best part about working at Renaissance is that your work is actually meaningful. You directly make an impact in the lives of the clients who want to start their small business, thereby strengthening the economy and the community. Another wonderful aspect of working at Renaissance is that everyone you work with are friendly, open and positive people. You feel like you are part of a big family! Plus they provide great benefits, very flexible in terms of your work schedule and being able to take time off when you need it.

    Cons

Renaissance is a non-profit, so we are always dependent on funding. As a result, our budget is tight and we have to be lean in our operations. Meaning you will be wearing multiple hats. But the challenge can be interesting.

    Advice to Management

Create a more standard and consistent evaluation process.

    Pros

They do excellent work for Entrepreneurs throughout the SF Bay Area.

    Cons

The management needs to be trained on how to manage. They manage through emotion and intimidation which is unprofessional.

    Advice to Management

    Take some executive management training.
