I have been working at Renal Ventures Management full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This is an amazing company that I am very sad to see be sold to a company without the same moral values ! I will forever be greatful to have been apart of this company !

    Cons

Being sold to a larger less intimate company.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Renal Ventures Management full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

small enough you know all of upper management by first names
attendance at annual Medical Director meetings - you hear what they hear/expectations
Pt/Pt Families come first - regardless of financial gain for company - do it because it is the right thing to do. Bottom dollar does matter - many times you gain more overall by doing what is right - taking care of your own/community, employees & their families.
High standard of accountability - HR+++

    Cons

limited funds - at time (never compromises pt care) attendance to national conferences

    Pros

Attending to the patients on a daily basis makes me look at life differently because you see someone whom is going through soemthing and it's makes you say your thankful for your health and strength. Caring for others and going in to make sure my work is completed to the max is what I love best. Going above and beyond to help the company grow and make the best know that everyday is a purpose and life is a challenge.

    Cons

Not much of a team oriented enviroment. Not much structure.

I have been working at Renal Ventures Management (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company that values their employee's!

    Cons

None other than that they are being acquired by another company and while the reasons are understandable it's tough watching a great company come to an end.

    Pros

Mid size company with not too much politics. Everyone has worked there for a while, there is respect and value for your opinions. Love my boss.

    Cons

Size it's a mid size company the bonus program is very subjective and controlled by the CEO. Normally in my position I received a pretty large bonus but in the three years I've worked at RVM I've received very little bonus. On the up side, my boss made up for it by raising my base which was much appreciated.

I have been working at Renal Ventures Management full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Renal Ventures values their employees with RV Difference events and encourage acts of KINDNESS. As an employee here I have autonomy when it comes to making decisions regarding my team.

    Cons

Right now within the organization, there is little to no room for future growth. The company is going through a reorganization, and a lot of changes are coming soon.

    Advice to Management

Continue to allow your staff to be a part of the daily decision making as it pertains to the work that they are responsible for doing.
