    Pros

I can honestly say the Employees, NOT The Management or Owners are good people.

    Cons

Horrible Company. Owner is a Mean Old Man. He needs to Sell The Company.

    Advice to Management

Sell The Company while it is still worth a Few Dollars, before you Totally Run it into The Ground!

I worked at Renda Broadcasting (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are none other than 9 to 5

    Cons

Pay is less than Wendys. You go in 300 places to make 10 percent of 100.00 order if you are lucky. Management is a joke. No training, you fend for yourself and they expect you to be a pro after a month. You need 30k worth of billing to make 3k a month which in this market is impossible. Have the businesses have never heard of them because they spend no money to advertise. Place is a joke. Dont waste your time

    Advice to Management

Learn how to train, run a company somewhere other than into the ground. Dont give some salary and others a decreasing pay in a down market and expect people to buy a station with 3500 watts.

I worked at Renda Broadcasting full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

At the time I worked at Renda.. the compensation and bonus programs were decent.
Staff was great..generally the attitudes were good.
    Staffers all got along well.

    Cons

Odd quirky things like having to work a half day after Thanksgiving on Black Friday. Women in SW Fla were required to wear panty hose in the heat of the Summer. Men ties at all times, etc.
Rate structure was high with a "take it or leave it" attitude -with plenty of un sold inventory.

    Advice to Management

Use your asset to maximize revenue.

I worked at Renda Broadcasting (More than 10 years)

    Pros

None there aren't any pros, its a family owned company who does not care about its employees, especially on-air staff.

    Cons

Low wages for employees,, no work-life balance for part-time employee, no job promotions , no diversity in on-air staff or office wise, no incentives, never says hello, but always complains, really dies not know which direct they want to take the station in. The music sounds like their is no one focus. Too much automation on the week days and weekends when there great talent right there that are more than capable of doing the job. Does not value loyalty , commitment and lacks diversity and integrity. Awful place to work. Wants something or nothing , wants full time staff on part-times wages. No employee evaluations yearly and no job promotion in Pittsburgh stations and no yearly wage increases. Fires great employees for no reasons. Never wants to allow part timers have a day off. without complaining about it., even for important family or life events. Terrible.

    Advice to Management

Be kind, respectful and mindful of the way you treat your employees.,at least provide water with a water cooler,
Low wages for employees,, no work-life balance for part-time employee, no job promotions , no diversity in on-air staff or office wise.. If your going to play diverse music (as you do) than you must have a diverse on-air staff. People are interested in listening to more than one type of person.. Be fair, give some encouraging words, smile , wave and say have a nice day-it only takes a minute rather than focus on the negative in you employees. Listeners and public are not stupid. You do not give yearly raises to all employees and not just one or two of you favorite employees. or promotion form the inside which is wrong and unfair, take care of home first. Recognize that you have very talented and skilled people working for that you pay no attention and are very quick to Not give them a chance , believe first , second and even third Chances before you pull on-air talent t off-air or demote them for no reasons or for your own personal reasons or just because you do not want to have diversity. Be fair and balanced to your employees. Give some incentives for working the crappy hours you offer. Recognize that you have great talent sitting right under your nose withing the workplace.

    Pros

People that work here are very courteous. Company has two kinds of employes.. Ones that have been there over 10 years and then new meat.

    Cons

Hard to break in sales because of older reps claiming accounts they don't work. Cold calling is very important and so is time management.

    Advice to Management

Training program could be more extensive. Review the client list more often.
