I have been working at Renegade full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Extremely friendly team and a very supportive environment that fosters personal growth. Very welcoming of new employees. You'll never feel like you're alone or that you can't ask for help. Upper management is very accessible and frequently gets "down in the trenches" with everyone else. Knowledgable employees are happy to help you learn and improve. Renegade is very committed to its employees and clients, and makes this obvious.

Causal and relaxed company culture and environment--everyday is casual Friday! Happy hours every Thursday and Friday with drinks, snacks and music.

Awesome location, right on 5th ave. Employees are all very clearly dedicated to what they do, and passionate about their work and their clients.

Plenty of opportunity to try out various skills and gain new ones. Regardless of your role, your input is always appreciated and you can assist in a lot of different areas that might not be a part of your specific position. Employees are invited to participate in brainstorms for all clients (beyond those you personally work on) and provide ideas and throw their hat in the ring.

    Cons

Very small company, so if you're look for something bigger or with hundreds of employees, Renegade might not be the best match. Due to company size, you will sometimes have responsibilities that fall outside of your specific role or position, which may not be what you are looking for if you like dislike leaving your comfort zone.

As mentioned, Renegade has a very casual corporate environment, so if you'd like to be wearing a suit everyday, Renegade may not be for you.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing.

I worked at Renegade as an intern

    Pros

I enjoyed my time at Renegade and learned important skills, but it was mostly self-taught. You'll learn a lot of process, though, and coworkers were smart.

    Cons

It's hard to find much guidance and there's some element of hurry up and wait. Sometimes your suggestions get overruled without many reasons given.

    Advice to Management

Trust your employees and add more mentorship.

    Pros

Great learning environment, especially for entry level employees. Healthy, enjoyable, and productive work environment. Small team makes it possible to have your hands in multiple buckets. Able to learn a bit of everything. Had a great 3 month internship and was hired at the end!

    Cons

If you're looking for a more corporate experience or looking to work with a large team, then Renegade might not be the best fit for you.

    Pros

i have many opportunities to learn and there are lots of very talented people. The physical environment is excellent and the management works hard at trying to create a fun atmosphere.

    Cons

Projects are often badly organized, it sometimes feels like the Wild West. I am often not given everything I need in order to perform as well as I would like. When I ask for these things, I am told they will happen but they never do.

    Advice to Management

slow down, create a viable structure, focus on the quality of the work as well as innovation
