    - Great benefits
    - Pay is acceptable
    - Work inside and outside the store
    - Get to know you coworkers very well
    - Upper management is really involved which helps training
    - Ability to help those in need of things for their homes can be very rewarding

    Cons

    - Stress is high
    - Gross homes will happen, daily.
    - People ditching on their payments will happen.
    - You have to have a strong back bone for this job
    - Physically can be exhausting
    - Not a good job for those with a family, you're at work, a lot.

    Advice to Management

Ensure your CARs have EVERYTHING they need, it made my time as assistant manager so much easier when they were totally set up for success.

    Pros

Opportunity for advancement, competitive pay, good benifits and you meet lots of good people, and are able to help some through hard times.

    Cons

You work every Saturday. And never have two days off in a row. Customers can be aggressive and combative. Entering other people's homes for repossession can be quirky.

    Advice to Management

Improve quality if life for your employees. 1 sat a month off or 2 days in a row is a must. Allow more control at the store level on pricing etc to battle sales at other rental companies

    Advice to Management

Ive noticed my co workers get rather upset when theyve completed the delivery book then come back and are told another big delivery has been added, ive even had 1 coworker quit because this happened so often.

    Pros

They offer a very competitive base salary with benefits.

    Cons

A caring person may not enjoy the credit aspects of the job.

    Advice to Management

    I worked at Rent-A-Center full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Laid back time, Get to be on the road, meet people. Raises every 6 months after 3 months probabtion. Print out W2s for taxes on work computer. (No waiting on mail.) Paid weekly. Ok benefits and discounts on store merchandise.

    Cons

Sales quotas (its an issue if you don't but you have to be good at something), either you good at collections(retrieving the merchandise back or make them pay for the rent). Long hours if you have an outside life. I worked from 8 to 7pm. Moving up in the company depends on if there's a spot opened in your store. If there's an opening in another store then you have to transfer to that store for that position.

    Advice to Management

Try to keep employees close to home. Appreciate a little more than pointing fingers at employees.
