    Pros

Great pay and it's easy to schedule your dr appts., make school functions and such to work around your daily schedule.

    Cons

The sales leads that must be turned in monthly. I think this should not be part of the job of a Pest Control Tech.

    Advice to Management

No advice but Kudos to My management team! They go above and beyond to help with anything, professional or personal problems.

    Pros

    Flexible schedule, genuinely nice people.

    Cons

Communication is not a strong point. Not a lot of encouragement or freedom to take initiative and make things happen.

    Advice to Management

Show your employees they are valuable. Provide them with the materials and resources to do their job and do it well.

I worked at Rentokil Initial full-time

    Pros

Growing global company, North American is a main focus

    Cons

    Unorganized, slow to make decisions/modernize

    Advice to Management

Recognize internal talent, analysis paralysis, take control and lead company from the top with some mandated changes to get past current constant state of almost centralized and acting as one company

I have been working at Rentokil Initial full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Growth from within. This is a company that believes in promoting and developing talent from within. Opportunities world wide from a top international company.

    Cons

If you do not like a people first company this might be a bad fit. Decisions are made on a People First concept that takes care of its front line employees.

    Advice to Management

Management seeks advice on a metric that refers to "Your Voice Counts" its employees feedback in order to make educated decisions.

I worked at Rentokil Initial full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Ummm .. not many... a company car

    Cons

Wow where to start.... Mangement was beyond terrible. I don't think in the six years I was there, they were professional until upper management walked in the door. A manager would throw things, swear, and just act ridiculous. Many techs advoid going to the office because of this behavior. oh and asking to get in the cage to get supplies you'll get yell at. My manager was extremely lazy. The last time he was with me for a ride along he just sat in the car. The buy out from rentokil was a turning point too it went from bad to worse. They promise you everything and never deliver. Take a look at the steritech reviews which was bought the same time as us. Bad reviews....

    Advice to Management

Better start hiring more people because over half the district is looking to leave because of the rentokil buy out and poor professionalism from managers.

I worked at Rentokil Initial full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Insurance is good. My coworkers were very nice and helpful. The day i quit and went some were else. Not much else to say.

    Cons

The pay scale is very confusing. We could never figure up our checks properly. Management couldn't seem to explain it either. Negative work environment.

    Advice to Management

    Pay your workers

I worked at Rentokil Initial full-time

    Pros

Not one that I could think of

    Cons

They had bought out our company and made promises that they had no intention to keep. Pay was cut, health insurance went through the roof and any employee that was good at their job left AutoNation.

If you are considering a position with AutoNation be very careful of what you sign and understand that reviews and monetary increases do not come in less you threaten to quit

    Advice to Management

You can't run a premium brand as if it was a Honda store

    Pros

A lot of people that work here do not have a degree. It was inside with AC during the summer time

    Cons

Can be really boring if there isn't anyone around you to at least joke around and make fun of the callers with.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to make sure that the objectives of the operators are broaden.
