I have been working at Republic National Distributing Company full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

This is a family oriented company that invests in their associates and promotes high expectations and a great culture. During my time with this company, I have seen a lot of growth because this company listens to their associates. I have learned so much about our industry and RNDC has given me the opportunities as well as the tools to succeed. There are many different avenues within this company and I see a long term future to be able to explore all sides of the business and grow as an individual.

    Cons

This company is filled with lots of positives, one being flexibility, however that can be difficult for some individuals who do not have the internal motivation to succeed. You receive what you put into this company and if you are not willing to put forth the hard work and effort, that is recognizable quickly.

I have been working at Republic National Distributing Company full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Interesting industry, get to sample lots of wine, work with some good people

    Cons

If you're not one of the "chosen" ones from the start, you'll never get to move up... Lots of salespeople all bottlenecked for advancement within the company... Corporate always looking for ways to pay us less Expect you to work 6 or 7 days a week

I worked at Republic National Distributing Company full-time

    Pros

Your day is spent driving to accounts, so you aren't stuck in an office all day staring at a computer. You have the freedom to make your own daily schedule and meet with accounts as necessary. Depending on busy times for accounts, you can be done early most days. A lot of happy hours and free samples of whatever alcohol you are selling

    Cons

With alcohol law changes in Oklahoma, the company may not have been totally ready for all the changes that needed to be made and things sometimes got disorganized. Some accounts totally shut out RNDC from merchandising, so there was a struggle to keep store managers happy as well as managers within RNDC.
