    attendance policy and things are constantly changing. WISH THERE WAS MORE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE CALL CENTER AND THE DIVISIONS.

    Solid company that offers a great benefits package and salary.

    Cons

    There has been a shift in management style. A lot of pressure and workload is intense. Not a good work/life balance.

    No training, no job security. Company will cut you loose whenever they want

    The people are great. Love the guys I worked with

    Cons

    They charge a premium price but right now it is chaos. Always short staffed. And the HR guy is an idiot so there is no help there.

    Get your house in order

    Pros

    Majority of BU co-workers were great to work with daily. Health and dental. Monthly bonus structure with quarterly bonus as well. Management that will listen and work with you on dealing with account issues, are a godsend. Consistently moving forward with innovation and ideas for an ever changing industry.

    Cons

    Low ball base pay scale for what job entails.
    Consistent issues with Customer Resource Centers. Including extreme wait times for already angry customers, little training and understanding of business unit procedures and geographic differences in business unit pricing, the ability to quote and close sales on accounts that will wind up in your book of business without you ever knowing and will not get even partial credit, and the ability to close an account without consulting the BU or the Rep regarding agreements.
    Loss of PTO days for hourly employees if BU closes during weather related events.
    The absolute reliance on a database copyrighted during the Reagan Administration.
    Mountains of paperwork and few backup personnel in positions that are needed for paperwork signatures or immediate database entry.
    The occasional “blue flu” from the drivers.
    Hiring can be dicey. Employees can be moved to "upper ladder" jobs that they may not be remotely prepared to handle.

    Advice to Management

    Keep moving things forward but remember that 30+year customers want to pay 1987 rates on 2018 recycling and trash removal service. Be willing to match or beat pricing from non-union haulers without giving the store away. Don't price increase seemingly everyone at once.
