I have been working at ResMed full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Passionate and bold leadership, strong commitment to leveraging technology to improve outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.

    Cons

It’s hard to tame so many aspirations at once, and resulting course corrections can be painful.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you’re doing: It isn’t always going to be perfect or pretty, but that’s not what’s important. As long as the patient continues to remain front and center, the rest will fall into place.

I have been working at ResMed full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Excellent culture, a leadership that embraces innovation and is willing to take reasonable risks great benefits, and a great benefits package!

    Cons

The business verticals are a bit "siloed", but this is generally the case with most growing medium/large sized companies.

    Advice to Management

Find ways to incentivize employees to develop more cross-vertical/functional relationships.

    Pros

Staff department wide, from Executive Level to Admins are all friendly and helpful with any questions, feedback or concerns. There is a lot of cross collaboration between departments and everyone strives to work together for common goals. We have themed team events throughout the year, a great café and lots of outdoor areas to work independently.

    Cons

None thus far from my time here.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work and positive environment we all experience daily!

    Pros

    Growth Opportunity
    Good Leaders
    Exciting Industry
    Technically Advanced

    Cons

    Work-life Balance
    Outdated Management Practice

    Advice to Management

Offer work from home flexibility options for ALL corporate employees. There is a disjointed culture-some are allowed the flexibility, most are not. It seems unfair and most importantly-we are not remaining competitive with other companies who do offer telecommuting.

    Pros

Incredibly talented team of people, lots of opportunities for personal growth and promotions, resources to advance many exciting and cutting edge projects. Wonderful product and service offering, it's a "feel good" kind of company.

    Cons

Competitive to land a job here, may take a few months to get through an interview process.

    Advice to Management

Rebuild trust in job / team security after past restructuring.

I have been working at ResMed full-time

    Pros

Benefits, pay, the building is nice, but its a facade

    Cons

There are 3 crowds at ResMed:

The in crowd, the legacy VP's that protect each other and get away with breaking the law and Resmed protects them, and many don't do a very good job anyway, but thats the besides the point.

The Halifax Club: The people that have come from Halifax and work for the President of SAAS, and you are protected because he can get anyone hired, and anyone fired, if you come from Halifax you can literally never get anything done, but are protected, and you don't ever have to meet a release date for software ever.

The rest of us: Hard working and disposable, and treated like we don't count or matter.

Grow up, and realize you have to change -- but I am not sure you can change, I am not sure you want to change, but as Jack Welch says, change on the inside or the end is near.

    Advice to Management

Change your leadership before you go out of business, your culture is just toxic.

    Cons

-Before I started here I had no idea that ResMed's HQ was in San Diego so we need to do a better job of getting the word out in the community

I worked at ResMed full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly culture, great management team. Everything is progressive and very easy to navigate. Great onboarding process. They celebrate every holiday and have quarterly meetings that accessible to all employees.

    Cons

No windows in the Chatsworth wearhouse building. Not handicap accessible, no elevator, just stairs. They tend to be a bit secreteve about their strategies, so be ready for surprises.
