    Pros

Incredibly talented team of people, lots of opportunities for personal growth and promotions, resources to advance many exciting and cutting edge projects. Wonderful product and service offering, it's a "feel good" kind of company.

    Cons

Competitive to land a job here, may take a few months to get through an interview process.

    Advice to Management

Rebuild trust in job / team security after past restructuring.

I have been working at ResMed full-time

    Pros

Benefits, pay, the building is nice, but its a facade

    Cons

There are 3 crowds at ResMed:

The in crowd, the legacy VP's that protect each other and get away with breaking the law and Resmed protects them, and many don't do a very good job anyway, but thats the besides the point.

The Halifax Club: The people that have come from Halifax and work for the President of SAAS, and you are protected because he can get anyone hired, and anyone fired, if you come from Halifax you can literally never get anything done, but are protected, and you don't ever have to meet a release date for software ever.

The rest of us: Hard working and disposable, and treated like we don't count or matter.

Grow up, and realize you have to change -- but I am not sure you can change, I am not sure you want to change, but as Jack Welch says, change on the inside or the end is near.

    Advice to Management

Change your leadership before you go out of business, your culture is just toxic.

    Pros

Friendly culture, great management team. Everything is progressive and very easy to navigate. Great onboarding process. They celebrate every holiday and have quarterly meetings that accessible to all employees.

    Cons

No windows in the Chatsworth wearhouse building. Not handicap accessible, no elevator, just stairs. They tend to be a bit secreteve about their strategies, so be ready for surprises.

    Pros

Company is growing and paid time off is generous.

    Cons

You work around the clock since it's a global company. Lack of diversity in some department. Work is being outsource and they bring in younger folks to save cost.

I worked at ResMed full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Opportunity to work on new mobile automation framework
    - If you're one of favored employees on the team, you're given a chance to input new ideas and custom tools
    - Helping people with sleep health issues
    - Some good colleagues

    Cons

    - No opportunity to move up
    - Not given the opportunity to be allowed to take initiative when desired (being held back from using one's strengths)
    - If you're not one of the favored employees on the team, offering input is at times squashed
    - When things stagnate or go wrong, some "heads roll" and it's difficult at times to get the right help that you need
    - Red tape due to being a medical device company
