    Pros

-Small agency environment that allows you to be less siloed and gain experience in various digital skills outside of your role
-You 100% own/lead the planning, buying, and execution of client media budgets
-Less corporate processes allow for quick decision making both internally and externally
-Laid back, younger company allows for very social/fun culture

    Cons

-Company size requires staffing to stay lean- hiring doesn't happen until absolutely necessary

I have been working at Resolute Digital full-time

    Pros

I've worked at Resolute for 3 years and my feedback is unanimously positive. It's a great place to learn new skills while working with a range of interesting clients across different industry verticals. You'll be trusted with managing key marketing initiatives for major brands while being given the autonomy to make crucial decisions and see your ideas come to fruition. If you're interested in any aspect of the digital marketing industry, be it paid media, social media, analytics, or design and development, this is a great place to learn and grow.

    Cons

With the great amount of responsibility you're given, there comes a lot of pressure which can be a turn off to some people. All roles at Resolute will require you to be both self sufficient and maintain a proactive, self-starter attitude.

    Advice to Management

More regular, formal performance roles would help in employee growth.

    Pros

I have have had good work experiences and I have had bad work experiences in my professional life. Most of these experiences come down from the folks in charge. I can confidently say that working at Resolute has been a great experience, and a lot of that has to do with the culture and atmosphere that the Partners facilitate.

    Cons

It's a growing agency, sometimes you've got to role with the punches in terms of less desirable clients and what not.

I have been working at Resolute Digital full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I've worked in several roles, across various fields (architecture, fashion, PR, etc.), but no matter how glamorous the position, at the end of the day they were all 'just a job'. Working at Resolute has been an entirely different experience. The company culture is such that I belly laugh at work and no longer get the Sunday blues (or at least not nearly as badly). There’s not huge stratification; the managing partners are personable, approachable and involved. It’s small enough to really know the people you work with; there are real friendships and opportunities for support systems. There’s not a lot of duplication in roles; you will be given large amounts of responsibility & opportunity.

    - Company culture/the people
    - Fair hours (if you finish your work you will very rarely be required to stay late)
    - Autonomy
    - Ability to be involved in/chances to learn other aspects of the business
    - Lack of bureaucracy/stifling hierarchy

    Cons

    - You won’t excel if you are not a least somewhat a self-starter
    - The partners are equally involved in the work-load/key accounts and are stretched a little too thin for consistent management and/or feedback

    Advice to Management

    - Schedule regular reviews, otherwise keep doing exactly what you’re doing

    Pros

    Resolute is a profitable company.

    Cons

The partners and management are terrible at providing any guidance or meaningful feedback to their hires. There are zero mentors or role models at the agency. Anytime there is an issue or challenge the twenty somethings with huge egos make bad decisions because the partners chronically avoid them. The only concern is to make as large of a profit as possible. This company is about money, they do not care about the people working hard for them. I am trying to leave as quickly as possible.

    Advice to Management

Strong managers invariably are excellent communicators. Providing ample feedback – both positive and negative – is a core skill

I have been working at Resolute Digital full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The partners and management recognize potential and will empower people to reach it. You can definitely move up in this company quickly but it comes with proven results through client or project success.

    Cons

It's an advertising agency so yes, you will work pretty hard at times but it always comes with a finished product or client success that you can take pride in and say you were a part of. If that's not your style, agencies in general are probably not the right fit.

    Advice to Management

Just keep hiring the right people who have aligned style of work and culture.

I worked at Resolute Digital full-time

    Pros

    – Free coffee, can wear jeans to work
    - Lots of overtime, if you don't mind the hit to your work/life balance.
    - No project manager, if you don't mind being blamed for missing dead line or train your project management skills.

    Cons

No work to home life balance, management does not know the process, simply there to crack the whip and keep their boss off their back.

    Advice to Management

Attend a management class and learn the value of your employees.

I worked at Resolute Digital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You'll learn how to not run a business and why it's important to have a goo technical management structure in place.

    Cons

The company makes its money by bidding on projects no one else wants and paying their workers the lowest price possible. Don't worry about a 401k, extra days off for working 60 hours a week, or even a review, because here those things affect their bottom line. You'll work in an environment with no project managers, no lead developers, where the client continually is allowed to make changes up to the last minute, and if you can't finish on time its your fault. The only thing missing from Resolute is a donation center for workers or clients to donate to the Resolute employees as Walmart does because it doesn't pay its employees enough.

    Advice to Management

You have Directors of Tech with no power, and are simply there by title only while the partners dictate tech. How does that make any sense?

I have been working at Resolute Digital full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Resolute is a small agency with strong expertise in mobile development and data implementations and analysis. The employees that excel here are experts in their craft and willing to put in the necessary time and effort to achieve on their Clients behalf. Resolute tries to manage a good work/life balance - putting in time when required - and enjoying a calm and productive pace for the majority of your days.

    Cons

There is no insulation at smaller companies. If you're looking for a place to work as little as possible, aren't a true expert in your field, and can't communicate/contribute to a team full of people who are dedicated to strong project delivery - this is not the right fit for you.

    Advice to Management

Keep hiring rockstars. Don't allow mediocracy. Keep up the Thirsty Thursdays
