Dynamic & Innovative Ad Agency
Aug 27, 2021 - Manager in Charlotte, NCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Company: Honestly one of the most innovative and effective ad agencies out there, with great benefits and advancement. Work: You get to work with large, advanced companies and interesting activations. The teams I've worked with are some of the most competent and knowledgeable in the industry. You'll frequently get exposed to the cutting edge in marketing and advertising; I feel my time at Res has been worth triple the experience I'd have received at another agency. Benefits: You get a ton of time off, with competitive compensation and amazing benefits. Culture: Work/life balance is about as good as it gets for an ad agency, you'll have occasional late nights but the managers are always looking out for their people and protecting you. The large amount of time off also helps offset any late nights. The teams are welcoming and very friendly and look to build an inclusive culture. The management is very open and frank at every level and works to build trust. They also are pretty darn good at promoting from within. Summary: I honestly can't recommend it enough to anyone interested in the ad/marketing industry enough.
Cons
Agency life can be stressful due to tight deadlines and demanding clients.

Cons

If you really miss your fraternity/sorority, you're in luck
Mar 5, 2021 - Senior Strategist in Chicago, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Decent office/location - Some interesting clients - Fun company outings - Tendency to work with Omnicom creative agencies rather than outside agencies (always a better dynamic)
Cons
- Terrible leadership. Group Directors blatantly play favorites and act with impunity/minimal oversight. Rumors and gossip fueled by senior leadership is a laughable trait for a company this size to have - Media management essentially graduates into account management rather than parallel career tracks like most agencies, leading to a lack of subject matter expertise from account leaders - Extremely clique-y social atmosphere. While a younger workforce has plenty of positive qualities, it also lends itself to a lot of immaturity when it comes to workplace dynamics.

Oct 11, 2021 - SEM Supervisor in Miami, FLRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Consistent work hours and nice holiday and summer schedule.
Cons
Not much room for growth unless you REALLY go outside of the scope of your role and hope an opportunity arrises. Not much focus on elevating people.

Not in New York = Do not matter to Leadership
Jun 30, 2020 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Resolution is a good place to start in digital advertising with a great on boarding and training program, some of which is dependent on your team. If you put in the effort, you will learn a lot while working with very smart, friendly people along with awesome partners.
Cons
Since the corporate office move to New York within the past six months, if you are not based in New York, you do not matter and are not valued. Leadership talks in circles to the point employees nod their head, tell them what they want to hear and tune them out. Clients can be challenging but that is with any agency.
