I worked at Resort World Casino New York City full-time

    Pros

Worked with a great staff. Descent pay with good benefits. Fast paced environment.

    Cons

Upper management was never around if we had any issues that needed attention.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on who actually does work and doesn't. So the wrong people dont get punished for others mistakes. The department as a whole needs to be restructured and monitored more frequent. People tend to be lazy. When an issue comes up, it should be resolved, not pushed aside. There was also a little bit of favoritism going on, which was kind of frustrating when you're working double so someone else can just sit in the office and do nothing.

I have been working at Resort World Casino New York City part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Salary is good after Becoming unionized.
    Food is for free

    Cons

Managers and Supervisors uneducated with no GEDs.

    Unprofessional management

    Employee morale very low

    Unfair treatment

Managers who made sense were fired and kept unprofessional supervisors.

    Advice to Management

Try to bring up the morale from your employees.

Choose wisely which manager you Fire very wrong decisions made. Current supervisors are a joke perhaps you should ran a drug test in all of them.

Too many changes in a short period of time.

Employees are afraid to be lay off or take the buy out.

I have been working at Resort World Casino New York City full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    If i didn't have to write 5 words minimum i wouldn't

    Cons

Upper Management!!!! Executive Chef and Executive Assistant Chef do not know what they are doing. they have not shown me any real culinary skills or anything I didn't know. The thing that they do really well is cause issues among us chefs and blame us to cover their own issues. Executive Chef also has no loyalty(Especially to those who help them personally or get them places to live). The F&B director is only where she is because the Executive Chef is her boyfriend(Isn't that convenient).

    Advice to Management

Get a new Executive Chef, Executive Assistant Chef, F&B Director. Get an F& B Director who isn't involved with your Executive Chef, maybe you'll see what is actually going on and is being hidden or stolen. The fact that you guys are so blind to see what is going on, you deserve to deal with this Resorts World Casino.

The only good thing that I can say about this place is that it is close to home and even for those that don't live so close to the place they offer many transportation opportunities.

    Cons

This is a company that doesn't allow much growth of its employees
