I worked at Resort World Casino New York City full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are minimal pros for this company

    Cons

This company (I worked for 2 different properties) treats employees as expendables. They are not accommodating and are always very negative. Often it feels that the problems within the company from a higher level are taken out on the front line staff. I see several positions opening at new properties that I would qualify for but given my horrible experience working here I won't even apply to this company again.

    Advice to Management

Without happy employees you have nothing.

I worked at Resort World Casino New York City full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Hard to think of any

    Cons

Favoritism, no trust, lack of respect for non-union staff, dark feeling environment, very low pay. Overall, not a good place to be. Skip it.

    Advice to Management

Stop favoriting individuals who are the sons or daughters of management; stop clocking every single minute of employees time, increase pay to match the millions of dollars made weekly, send the management team to leadership training so they understand threats of termination are ineffective

I worked at Resort World Casino New York City full-time

    Pros

Worked with a great staff. Descent pay with good benefits. Fast paced environment.

    Cons

Upper management was never around if we had any issues that needed attention.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on who actually does work and doesn't. So the wrong people dont get punished for others mistakes. The department as a whole needs to be restructured and monitored more frequent. People tend to be lazy. When an issue comes up, it should be resolved, not pushed aside. There was also a little bit of favoritism going on, which was kind of frustrating when you're working double so someone else can just sit in the office and do nothing.
