Locally owned company with good intentions-has been well regarded in the past by clients and employees-centrally located-ethical for the most part.
Inconsistent standards for performance, if you are liked you get a pass, if not you are held accountable. Immature, unprofessional behavior by a few employees is ignored and/or tolerated. Conflict is handled very poorly and avoided to the detriment of the company.
Management does not have a well defined vision for the company.
Advice to Management
Spend more time and money on training. Invest in your staff. Make sure the people you make managers are actual leaders who know how to manage. If they aren't then either train them or make a change. Don't be so afraid to have tough conversations.
