    Pros

    Very friendly colleagues
    Opportunity to work with big brand companies
    Great experience learning email marketing
    Depending on your manager/account, WFH can be whenever you'd like

    Cons

    Zero investment in employee career growth within Oracle
    Even though the Oracle Marketing Cloud is doing relatively well, there have been no raises the past two years
    Promotions are extremely rare
    Lots of red-tape involved with paperwork and timecards
    After being acquired by Oracle the culture is non-existent

    Advice to Management

    Be more transparent with employees
    Follow through with investing time in career growth
    Need to do a better job retaining employees, the turnover and negative morale can make it tough to work at the office some days

    Pros

    Fun work environment and people were great.

    Cons

    Upper Management didn't invest in its employees. Promised promotions didn't occur after Oracle purchased Responsys.

    I have been working at Responsys full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great people. Benefits package is great. Good bonus and SPIF (if paid on time at all and correctly).

    Cons

    Bonus comp plan delayed and incorrect, battling to get SPIF paid for months. No life-work balance, no flexible working. Admin and frustrating processes it is triumph to get anything done. Uninspiring cold leadership (Dan Springer is not the CEO). High staff turnover is 'normal', stress levels making people sick. Unhappy company.

    Advice to Management

    The Sales team seems a lot happier than the rest of the company. Try to model their leaders' management style.

    Pros

    Coworkers are great. The culture is great, and you get great benefits.

    Cons

    No promotions, no raises due to Oracle budget cuts/freeze. There is a lot of negative attitudes and terrible work ethic because of this.

    - Great people to work with and positive office culture
    - Enjoy the day to day work I do

    Cons

    - They sold to Oracle
    - Oracle is driving the talent out and limiting opportunities

    Advice to Management

    Management within our office cares about their employees and works hard to maintain culture what they can of Responsys office culture and work, despite Oracle.

    Great platform and product offering
    Flexible working
    Quarterly bonus and above-average benefits
    Nice, friendly people
    Casual dressing (very)
    Still feels like a start-up!

    Poor life work balance
    Excessive workload, it's normal to put in extra hours every day
    Management lacking leadership, clarity and direction
    Difficult career advancement
    Bureaucracy
    Oracle processes

    Advice to Management

    Provide support needed and leadership to the team before the rest of us follow suit and march off too.
    Frequent and clear communication is needed.
    Resource is needed, most have to work 50hr a week to cope with workload.

    ~Great software for enterprise B2C email marketing
    ~Great location at 3rd/Market
    ~Working from Home

    Cons

    ~Lack of Transparency
    ~Oracle will freeze promotions/raises for the sake of quarterly revenue reports
    ~Responsys management has no power, all trickles down from Oracle fat cats.

    Advice to Management

    ~Let employees work from home more often
    ~Don't pretend like there is progress, your hands are shackled to Oracle fat cats.

    Pros

    People are friendly/helpful. Nice location. Job itself isn't too bad.

    Cons

    Management has lied about giving raises over and over again, leading to a mass exodus. They then failed to hire new people.

    Oracle processes add frustration and take away time no one has.
