    Pros

    - Generous compensation package
    - Free snacks/fruit every week
    - Good work life balance
    - Casual dress code

    Cons

    - Hardly any internal employees left due to big layoffs and people leaving left and right because of job instability
    - Terrible morale
    - Very limited resources
    - No direction or transparency from higher up; never keeps employees in the loop of company status
    - No structure
    - CEO is impulsive and toxic, isn't business savvy whatsoever

    Advice to Management

Sell the company and get a CEO who actually knows what he/she is doing.

    I worked at Restaurant.com full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's a great product and service. The pay is fantastic. I love using the coupons!

    Cons

The managers are so lazy and not involved in with their employees at all except for the "veterans" and one who the manager is in love with and gives all attention to. There was no support and training was weak. The main manager is rude and will not help you but act annoyed and will change your department if you don't hit quota one time after you only been working there one month.

    Advice to Management

Motivate your team. Stop focusing on one girl. Stop hiding in your office and help your employees. If you're trying to train a team, try being a team player.

I have been working at Restaurant.com full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I've had the opportunity to work with some of the most amazing sales professionals in the business. I have the flexibility to work out in the field and home a majority of the time with maybe 20% of the time at corporate. My commissions are fantastic, my check has always hit on time, and I truly believe in the products we offer.

    Cons

There have been some growing pains over the years but the future outlook is nothing short of positive!

    Advice to Management

Management has always done a pretty good job of keeping employees in the loop on company direction. Everyone has room to improve but every manager that I've reported to directly over the past few years has been great.

    Pros

Paycheck, though I did wonder if they would clear the bank sometimes. That's it. Nothing else. Writing more only because Glassdoor requires more than 20 words.

    Cons

CEO - arrogant baboon. Needs to sell. Knows nothing about business. In a meeting with his senior staff, we had to go around and introduce ourselves (this was his first meeting with senior staff apparently, but since I was relatively new, I didn't know that beforehand) and he interrupted one guy and said, "What's your name again? You look familiar." To which the guy replied, "Yeah, well I've worked for you for 15 years."

In another one-on-one meeting with another departing senior exec, I asked what advise he had for me. He said, "Stay of his (the CEO's) radar."

    Advice to Management

Find another company to work for.

    I worked at Restaurant.com full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very Loose work environment, casual office dress code. Snack nation on Wednesdays. Free coffee machine. My manager of the partner success team was amazing.

    Cons

Management does not communicate well with each other or employees. No clear goals. Website hasn't worked correctly for restaurant partners for 3 years. CEO has stepped Down as well as CFO. No clear future for company.

    Advice to Management

Communicate better with employees. Don't allow IT issues with website to lag around for 3 years. Partners cancel due to these issues that make the company $15,000 plus a year. They still do nothin about it.
