I have been working at Restore Therapy Services full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Restore places a huge emphasis on continued education and preparing their employees for any changes that pop up with Medicare. They also champion their employees and promote from within and better their employees in their career. They are a great company to work for!

    Cons

    None, I love this place!

I worked at Restore Therapy Services full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Excellent training. Up to date computers/iPad.

    Cons

Local manager was unethical. Poor communication skills.

    Advice to Management

Therapist need to determine treatment times, not an assistant with lesser education and experience.

I have been working at Restore Therapy Services full-time

    Pros

Flexible hours, good insurance, relaxed work environment. They are good with time off and give a lot of paid time off. I enjoy working for Restore.

    Cons

I believe the nature of my cons would come from personal experiences with different personalities I have worked with, instead of anything negative about the actual company.

    Advice to Management

I believe there is room to improve in the area of how many days a week you have to work to be considered full-time. I believe the company could be more flexible with four day full-time employees.

Thanks for your comments. Full time status is not based on days worked, but the number of hours worked. Many employers share a common definition of what constitutes full time and part time hours. A Rehab Tech position is designed to provide administrative support during core work ...

I have been working at Restore Therapy Services part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Pay is not bad, and they're pretty good about not micro managing everything. They give you some leeway if you make a mistake

    Cons

90% productivity required for assistants, but they also expect you to find time for various non-therapy tasks. I have also felt encouraged to perform certain tasks with patients to meet some quota whether the pt needs it or not.

I have been working at Restore Therapy Services full-time for less than a year

    Pros

My peers are some of the hardest working people I know. We sincerly care about each other and work together to give the patient the best care possible.

    Cons

Upper management is clueless. They have no idea what their workers actually do in a 8-10 hour day. They have never cleaned, trained and provided education to patients and would not know where to begin. They treat employees like prisoners. I never heard anyone recieve praise or a compliment for a job well done. I did hear plenty of degregating remarks. Bonues are based on productivity with 82.5-85.49 being a 1%...

    Advice to Management

Actually follow or shadow a worker. Learn what we actually do in day as a therapist. Help us clean, train and educate patients. Maybe you would then appreciate what we do.

Company is very ethical and fair with employees. Benefits are good and not as expensive as other employers.

    Cons

Compensation is lower than other companies. Therapists have to travel to multiple facilities.

Thanks for your comments. We are glad you like the benefits we offer. We do try to provide competitive salaries as well. We do ask our therapists to help neighboring facilities at times, depending on workload and need.
