I worked at Retro Fitness part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fun, upbeat atmosphere. Members were great, made a lot of friends. Job itself is not hard, make protein shakes and sign new members up. Best part was socializing with the members and learning a lot about fitness.

    Cons

Poor upper management. Went through four managers in the two years I was employed.

    Advice to Management

Organization and better communication with lower level employees would help build company rapport. I would have felt more connected to the company and brand rather than just a nameless employee at one of the smaller locations.

    Pros

Flexible hours, easy to take off if needed, the job itself is easy. Everyone works together very well and there's a good sense of team spirit. Plus free membership

    Cons

No real cons, it you're opening the gym you have to be up bright and early. Minimum wage with few small raises.

    Advice to Management

Management is great, Debbie is amazing.

    Cons

    Terrible hours

I know this seems more like a transition job, but don't hire adults when you know YOU can't live off of minimum wage.
