I have been working at RevLocal full-time

    Pros

RevLocal is consistently staying relevant in an ever changing digital world. The culture is supportive and there is continual professional development in every position. This is an excellent company to be part of.

    Cons

Someone must be self-motivated to be a consultant. This is not a downside for me, but for some it could be.

I have been working at RevLocal full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

RevLocal offers the best digital marketing service in the industry by far. Also they have great mentors, flexibility in schedule, and hard work is rewarded.

    Cons

While the stated average salary range is $40k-$70K for first year consultants, I find that the vast majority of consultants are struggling to make decent money.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing, but maybe err on the side of caution when projecting salaries. While the average salary presented may be correct, a median salary would be more accurate to publish. Also, it would help new consultants tremendously if they understood the product more fully before doing drop-ins.

I have been working at RevLocal full-time

    Pros

Great culture. Awesome leadership. The products we have truly make an impact on local businesses. I feel like I am a part of something bigger than just myself.

    Cons

Outside sales employees are rarely at headquarters. Kindof by nature of the position.

I have been working at RevLocal full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly well versed managers who really try to help

    Cons

No base pay, (based on making appts which is scary already), no gas or phone reimbursement or car insurance. You're in your own vehicle ! they should pay you for that! Experienced reps should make more then 40-60K the first year. Ramp up should be much higher. Its very difficult to sell this product when everyone else is selling the same thing and these businesses see the same type of reps come in every day~

    Advice to Management

Pay the sales reps a base and make it lucrative enough for them to want to work. It's a burn out job already.

I have been working at RevLocal full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I hate using this term, but with this role it offers a great work/life balance. For those who are self motivated, don't need to report to an office every day, like working face to face with small to medium sized businesses, and competitive this role is for you.

    Cons

For those coming from a base salary position, when you first are starting out the compensation structure may be intimidating...which I get However, there are those who are looking for this kind of pay structure and thrive. But if you're not willing to work, can't handle the occasional objection, and aren't really organized then this role may not be for you.

    Advice to Management

    Stay innovating

I have been working at RevLocal full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I am challenged, supported, and given great opportunity! At revlocal you have everything you need to be successful if you have the right attitude, fortitude, and aren't afraid to ask for help..

    Cons

The company is growing very fast which is good, but you are always working with ever-changing platforms, people, and strategies.

    Advice to Management

I love how in-tune with employees you are! As we grow larger and more successful don't lose that!!

I have been working at RevLocal full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

RevLocal has always strived to provide the best health insurance coverage available. It's not their fault why the insurance rates keep rising. It's the Federal Government's fault. It's called Obamacare.

    Cons

Obamacare is the reason for rising rates, not RevLocal.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work!!!
