I have been working at Revlon full-time

    Pros

There isn't much to say good about the company

    Cons

No work instructions, std op procedure, no way to fully execute successful training. The insurance isn't great, they offered no relocation service for employee that asked about finding something a bit closer. The managers have no discipline over workers and the line personal basically do what they want. Too many safety issues but when brought to attention I felt like I was not suppose to say anything because I'm new. This is a GMP facility that really does not train the employees on what that mean.

    Advice to Management

Update technology and the environment is not so friendly on production floor, if you want the talent you have to be more competitive and attract them to want to stay. Offer relocation of the employees don't know you have it.

I worked at Revlon (More than 3 years)

    Pros

As merchandiser, I worked independantly and although the company did not see me often, I always felt supported. Although I worked part-time, I never felt like I was left out of the big picture.

    Cons

Territories should have been divided by local and rotated so that everyone gets a chance to work in the nice stores and the not so nice ones as well.

I have been working at Revlon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Revlon is a fantastic place to work; flexible working hours, half day Fridays, excellent (mostly female) senior leadership and a great bunch of friendly people.

    Cons

No working from home, short term sales focus, reactive and lack of processes is challenging. Also bonus is not performance based.

    Pros

It is one of the best companies to work for. Management is fair, and treat their employees well. I enjoy working with them.

    Cons

Mileage, you had to reach 40 miles before you get paid mileage reimbursement there after.

I worked at Revlon (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great people to work with, great career opportunities if you're interested, training used to be offered often

    Cons

Hard to find for me, some people liked complaining about upper management (some people always like to complain), but I liked my direct management

    Advice to Management

Communicate with employees more directly about initiatives (brands, promotions, etc.) so employees would feel like part of the process
