    Pros

Very accommodating. Work/Life balance is pretty good....better than most. Good environment and most folks are very friendly.

    Cons

Some of the IT processes are not mature causing some issues/tension when trying to get projects or tasks completed. The company does acknowledge that and they are making progress to improve in that area. Also, this is manufacturing. So, IT teams are very lean.

I have been working at Rexam (More than a year)

    Pros

The pay is pretty good compared to market value. There is flex time and some work from home opportunities. Good employees at the lower levels.

    Cons

The company as a whole lacks processes to make them more attractive. They do not value their employees. They do not like for employees to speak up. They want you to remain silent and do as your told. They lack responsibility and accountability in many aspects. Too lean in staff to be efficient. Too many decisions made at the management level who have no idea how it affects the everyday employee.

    Advice to Management

Learn to value your employees. Encourage employees to speak up and give input where they feel things can improve. Hire people to improve the lack of processes. Encourage employees to take true ownership of issues that exist for improvement. Research how changes affect the average employee before making things a global standard.
