    Growing company - fairly good benefits package. Things mainly controlled from UK

    Cons

    Lots of layers of management - people trying to get up the pole

    Advice to Management

    They seem to be going through a merger with Ball right now so things could be changing.

    Pros

    The 4 days on 4 days off work week. Pay is real good here so are the benefits.

    Cons

    Its real hot in the summer inside the plant and cold in the winter. Very noisy need to wear earplugs all the time.

    Advice to Management

    To not belittle anyone! Except the workers for who they are and what they can do in their positions at their job.

    Pros

    Very accommodating. Work/Life balance is pretty good....better than most. Good environment and most folks are very friendly.

    Cons

    Some of the IT processes are not mature causing some issues/tension when trying to get projects or tasks completed. The company does acknowledge that and they are making progress to improve in that area. Also, this is manufacturing. So, IT teams are very lean.

    Have recently been acquired by Ball Container and moving its operations to Colorado.

    Good people at Rexam and easy to work with

    Cons

    Career moves are hard to come by unless you move to any of the headquarters in US or UK and if willing to do a different role within a different team.

    Advice to Management

    Provide greater flexibility for job growth by permitting more flexibility to work remotely.

    High quality products, no shortcuts taken to achieve excellence, personal growth

    Cons

    workload fluxuates, especially if hourly. Can get so far up then becomes stagnent

    Pros

    Great pay and benefits. Work schedule flexibility. Willing to work around schedule. 12 days of vacation equal one week. Great down to earth hourly workforce.

    Cons

    High pressure and production supervisor had most of the responsibility. Numbers meant more than safety. Always adding more responsiblity and work on supervisors.

    Advice to Management

    Understand that the production supervisors have a high pressure get it done job. You need to listen to the frontline workers.
