I worked at Rice Garden part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It is very simple job because we just serve food to whichever customers select and prepare to go

    Cons

Sometimes it could be very stressful when the person who is in charge of all of the CSRs are not very understandable

    Advice to Management

I would say the manager needs to make sure all the CSR are comfortable with whom they listen to, and no one really likes to receive negative feedbacks all the time, and keep everything professional is the key all time.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

Earn some working experience during my Master study and make money for living expense since I'm an international student

    Cons

It is not related to my major. I spoke Chinese with co-workers at most of time, which gives less chances to practice English.

    Advice to Management

More clear divitions of work are needed in order to make everyone understand what are their major jobs in some situation.

    Pros

The best things about working here is the relationship between customers and the employees. Very gratifying when a customer gives you positive feedback.

    Cons

Long hours and very demanding fast pace job. Bonus is difficult to reach even though sales are up and labor down.
