    Pros

Weekly Pay, that's about it. Management constantly calls you outside of work hours discussing work. that's unacceptable. Company doesn't invest in its employees where it's needed. PAY THEM HONESTLY!

    Cons

Pay decrease every year, NO raises, 5 total paid days off per year, 2 holidays off but will have to work the following Saturday to make for any days off. Be careful of promises or favors. They always result in you being screwed.

    Advice to Management

Even pay across the board. Shorten routes. More paid days off. True holidays off no Saturday work unless it's optional.

    Pros

    We got paid every week.

    Cons

TOO MUCH DRAMA and FAVORITISM! I have never in my life witness so much drama from adults until i became an employee of rich products. There' s no use to telling you supervisor when their the root of it all.

    Advice to Management

Offer professionalism classes to employees and implement the same rules to ALL employee.

I have been working at Rich Products full-time

    Pros

It's a job...No one really cares if you do your job. Easy paycheck. Everyone has the " I don't care mentality "

    Cons

No one cares if you do your job...It's food service. With that said, I will never eat anywhere Rich products are sold. "GMP's " ....laughable. No one adheres to them.
And the best part...Overtime is paid in 15 min intervals...if you work 14 mins overtime,......you will NOT get paid for it...Cheap, Petty company. Trust someone who has worked for good companies...You can do better..
Oh and it's a union shop. not bad in itself, if the union did something other than collect dues. They are definitely not there to better the members work life.

    Advice to Management

Get a clue...Food safety is what paramount in this industry. This is the filthiest food processing plant I have ever seen. You are banking on the oven to kill off what you are too cheap to clean properly. GMP's, HAACP.....sure...right....you have to be kidding me.

    Pros

Close to home. Fun while it lasted.

    Cons

I felt like everyone goes with the flow. Even if that means trying to put fear on another/new employee. Seniority... the pay was decent before shut downs no pay and insurance.

    Advice to Management

Need better trading and people that are willing to be nutural.

    Pros

    The Rich Family.
    Healthcare; in house daycare.
Lots of great people who care and go the extra mile.
    Diversified businesses provide some insulation.
    Fair bonus program.

    Cons

Having been at Rich's for over 10 years; it appears that the new Dir/VP level mgmt. is no longer a collaborative/engaged and supportive team.
Culture has turned from positive and engaging to win/lose; us vs them mentality.
It is sad to see this change happening and I wonder if the Rich Family really sees what is happening to their company; this cannot be good for the next generation.

    Advice to Management

I would advise the family to get more deeply involved in the people side of their leadership and listen to those in the building who are expressing concern over these changes.
This is a great company; let's not let poor leadership take us in the wrong direction.
Listen to what has to be evident!
