    Pros

Fun atmosphere, set your own work pace, meet new people everyday, great place to learn about your personal drive, not tethered to an office cubicle, and you choose your earning potential. It's a great place to learn how to do sales with integrity.

    Cons

You must be self motivated and work with not a lot of micromanagement.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work, maybe some more trips?

I have been working at Richard Allen full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Opportunity is vast given the growth goals of the company and the capabilities and experience of management. Before becoming CEO, Ben started as an account exec with no previous experience in the field, so it's comforting knowing management and above can really relate when it comes to your own development. Great culture and pay is pretty great as well.

    Cons

This position is for the entrepreneurial, so a lot is expected of you when it comes to effort. You're not expected to be a pro in the position from the get go, necessarily, but there is an expectation that, if others are putting 100% into your development, you are putting in just as much, if not more... Not really a con in my eyes...

    Pros

I love working for a company that pushes and wants to see my succeed! I really enjoy a position where I determine the outcome and how far I can grow with the company. If you happen to be looking for a rewarding, motivating and really amazing opportunity for development and growth, this is the place for it! Everyone from HR to the CEO is always upbeat and more than willing to help. Definitely a great team environment.

    Cons

The only con I can truly see there being is if you were not a right fit for this position. If you're not ready to work hard and reap all of the benefits, don't bother.

I worked at Richard Allen full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly, youthful environment. That's it. You'll like your coworkers and nothing else.

    Cons

Beware, this is in fact a door-to-door sales job. There is no marketing. If you ask if it is door-to-door they will tell you it is not residential door-to-door, they deal strictly with business owners in the area, which is extremely deceiving because it is in fact going door-to-door to businesses. This is how you will spend every day. You will not be in the office, you will be in the field rain or shine and your performance is actually based on just how many businesses you walk into during a day. They tell you it is a full time Monday-Friday position and that you will be offered a base salary plus commission, both lies. If you don't hit sales quotas you will be forced to work Saturdays. Your base salary is also contingent on the fact that you make sales quotas. If you don't hit these numbers, you could make nothing after working for a whole week. Also, you'll be told your day will be from 8:00AM-5:30PM, another lie. You have to be there no later than 7:45AM and most days won't leave until 6:30PM. The CEO expects you to treat this job like it's your whole life and is extremely insensitive if the slightest thing goes wrong and doesn't understand that life just happens. I am trying to make this post as honest as possible. If you like sales then go ahead, this could be a great job for you. I can assure you though that most people have no idea what they're getting themselves into (myself included), so really take this information into consideration. However, working here made me feel like I was a slave to Mr. Buchsbaum. I could not get out soon enough.

    Advice to Management

    Stop being deceitful and manipulative.

Gain skills and experience for work and outside life. Very fun culture to be in, the environment is 100% positive and nothing less. The culture is young, dynamic, and energetic. Management is open with all their people and values contributions and consistently demonstrates a commitment to the betterment of everyone on their team. I love the fact that there's plenty of room for advancement and growth here.

    Cons

    Pros

People are great individuals, very friendly. Generally mean well. It's just a job for many, but they are sales person friendly.

    Cons

It's ONLY a door to door sales job. Don't buy ANYTHING they bill it as on job boards. It's only commission, and they will not reimburse you for anything you spend... Gas, anything. They also expect you to mislead people you sell to. Can you make a few bucks? Yes. But, don't be fooled... It sucks as a job, and very few will be comfortable doing it. The high turnover reflects this.
