    I worked at Ricky's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I was able to play with a few testers for products that I had been interested in. That's pretty much it.

    Cons

I was hired under the assumption that I was going to be a store manager. I was then told that it would be months before I got a store. I guess it was going to happen when someone else quit.
I was also informed that because I was salary I wasn't allowed to leave the building for lunch, except for a few minutes. In almost 20 years of retail experience I've never heard of such a thing.
The manager that was training me behaved like I had no knowledge of the industry even though I had about 15 more years of experience than her.
The upkeep and hygiene of the store was disgusting.

The pay is comical. As a store manager I made less than what salespeople make at other retailers.

    Advice to Management

Perhaps if you raise the salary slightly you can obtain, and retain, a better quality of employees.
