I worked at Ricoh as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

The Company’s culture developed an environment that’s always positive. Management always provided an open door policy for interdepartmental communications for process and product improvement.

    Cons

There is no issue with the way the company was operated as there are always issues and constraints when working with changing goals, deadlines and industry competitiveness that’s the normal work environment everywhere.

I worked at Ricoh full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

None at all. Can't think of any pros to this company. Probably the worst company i ever worked for! Terrible

    Cons

Terrible management. Managers are bias and take advantage of their power and act like they own the company. Manager would boss people around and come to work late and leave early. They Do nothing but order people around and blame others for their own faults.

    Advice to Management

Reward employees for their work ethic and merits, not favoritism just because of past relationships and friendships. Treat employees with respect and lead by example.

    Pros

Some really bright people that I am honored to know also work here.

    Cons

Nearly totally incompetent people are treated not much differently from really good people. Incompetent people are often kept on for month after month and treated with kid gloves. At the same time some of the most competent people are slammed hard and grossly unfairly. Management has turned over almost completely. Gross mismanagement of all project phases is the norm from the top. Only some line managers and key employees do a good job to barely keep the place afloat.

    Advice to Management

Those who need the advice will certainly not listen to it.
