    Pros

The job has decent pay for part time employees. It is a great place to earn income while working on other projects such as finishing school.

    Cons

Limited room for growth if you are a full time employee due to very few branches.

    Advice to Management

A lot of individuals are in positions they are not qualified for

I have been working at Ridgewood Savings Bank

    Pros

*Hours are great *Show initiative and there is opp. for growth *Good benefits *Stable

    Cons

*Pay could be better *Managers should communicate better with employees the goal of the bank *Sometimes upper management does not select the best people to run operations * Management/operation issues with acquisition of City and Surburban could be better addressed

    Advice to Management

*Select more competent managers *Give employees the resources to do their jobs more effectively -- ie. counterfeit machines on teller floor *It continues to host all events in Queens or LI, and does little or none community outreach or employee events/training in the the Bronx, where they have a significant # of employees. *Conservatism has paid off in these hard times

I worked at Ridgewood Savings Bank

    Pros

-Higher pay than other companies in retail banking -Holiday bonus -Flexible hours (especially if you're a student) -Overall easygoing work environment

    Cons

-Senior management is not apt at conveying ideas and what is required to employees -Inconsistent competence of managers -Ad-hoc reform/lack of vision of senior management -Promotions to become a supervisor or manager take a lifetime

    Advice to Management

Offer promotions to competent employees, and find a better way to convey new developments regarding rules and regulations to bank employees.
