+ the company has made positive investments that direct impact the Right At School team

    Cons

    - It's fast past which I enjoy but may not be for everyone.

I worked at Right At School part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    -1 free uniform
    -working directly with students

    Cons

-extra uniforms are a personal cost
-little to no hours each day
    -whistle blowing is not tolerated
    -poor communication
    -poor customer service
    -unqualified and unprofessional management
    -lack of materials needed

    Advice to Management

I strongly encourage that those on the corporate end of this company take time to find out who they have working for them as well as what their vision truly is. There truly is such potential for this program in any district. Unfortunately, I feel Right At School will ultimately lose its trust among parent and district consumers in a short matter of time.

I worked at Right At School full-time

    Pros

Working with the kids is always a benefit. Developing relationships with the kids as well as the parents.

    Cons

How the company is run. They say make it your own, well when you are doing something that works but 1 person doesn’t like it, change everything.
The training is a joke, as well as the over bearing rules.
The management is an absolute joke. Those making decisions are never present with the kids. Management would rather do things their own way instead of listening to parents.
Went to meeting where they presented what they would do for the kids. All of it was lies, the company has lied to her parents many times.
The company doesn’t understand some communities are different. Treating a small town like a prison yard does not make parents happy. Before I left, many parents said if the company doesn’t change the upper management style, they will leave program as well.
I have a whole list of cons that many parents and staff would agree with. However being around the company I also know they don’t want what’s best for the kids, but what’s best for the fiscal year.

    Pros

The leadership team is amazing !. Leadership cares about your personal and career growth. You can always reach out to anyone for assistance when need be. The program curriculum is amazing for kids. The structure and curriculum helps prepare students not only in school but also in life as they get older.

    Cons

It's a start up company so depending on your job title you will have a lot of responsibilities.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work !!

I worked at Right At School part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay can be decent if you have some experience and education.

    Cons

Lack of organization, resources, and adequate training. Unclear and unfair disiplinary system. Rigid in their transfer policy--they rather lose you as a worker than move you to a program/team you are better suited for, that wants and needs to have you there.

    Advice to Management

Area managers need to get way better at training, preparing, and supplying program managers and educator teams. The level of expection is high, while the resources needed to reach those expections are low or nonexistent. Maybe allow for transfers when employee conflicts arise, rather than force hostle work environments. Protect new employees from the runoff of past employee conflicts that have nothing to do with them. And last but not least, when someone quits, give them an exit interview and get very specific feedback, especially when they ask for one!! You're growing too fast to be losing good workers to poor management.
