Worst Place to Work, Terrible CEO who openly says he is just waiting to retire

      Pros

      You can work remote easily.

      Cons

The other reviews are telling the truth. You can go 5 years with no raise and barely a review. You are told you are doing a good job but there is no money for you. Money is often taken from one group to give to another. There is zero career development and employees are seen as chattel. Senior Management can be vindictive. A couple years back we were given “anonymous” surveys and when a certain extremely senior manager didn’t like the negative feedback he wanted HR to tell him who it was so he could retaliate. Benefits are purposely kept a vague and it’s impossible to understand what is owed to you.

      Pros

-National reach but with local management -Clear goals -Wide range of benefits -Stock purchase plan for parent company

      Cons

-Expectations can range wildly depending on the month/time of year -Health insurance, while probably better than many, is suited for healthy families only. Large costs every year with no good options to adjust your plan as a result of illnesses. -General cons of working for a big corporate company all apply here. HR, IT, services, where to go for what specific question etc.

      Pros

The culture is fantastic and the fact that they are Gallagher owned adds to some of the opportunity. As the largest MGA in the country, they have great relationships across the industry. Everyone truly works together across all branches to drive in revenue.

      Cons

Because this a larger wholesale operation, it can be difficult to find resources efficiently. However, they are working on this currently and RPS is rebranding itself.
