I have been working at Ritz-Carlton full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Full responsibility of a manager and the ability to prove yourself from the beginning. Empowerment is a staple for The Ritz-Carlton and this position allows you to use your judgement and intelligence to make a difference in the workplace. A long history of success in the company lays a great framework, standard operating procedures for almost any process exist to help you succeed.

    Cons

Work life balance can be minimal, typical work days are 10 hours. Work in the hospitality industry means working weekends, holidays, and different hours throughout the day. Pay in this industry is poor in all areas of leadership you have to enjoy the work in order for it to be worth the below average compensation.
