I have been working at Riverview Medical Center part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Great teamwork, people mostly have your back and understand that they need to work together
    - if full time, great health benefits
    - flexible schedule (if part time or per diem); good work/life balance

    Cons

    - short-staffed, often disorganized placement of staff. Patients often don't receive immediate care
    - very few breaks, if at all

    Advice to Management

Hire more staff, especially Patient Care Techs - most floors do not have enough PCTs and suffer because of this. It prevents patients from receiving their care in a timely manner and it throws more work and responsibility on the nurses to catch up. Hiring more nurses would be great too for similar reasons.

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Riverview Medical Center full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, pretty hospital, has Duncan Donuts onsite

    Cons

Mgr is pretty awful. You cannot get proper support because HR, ADMINISTRATION go back to your mgr with what you said. Most mgr are women who while incredibly smart, are poor managers. Rude, bossy, self centered, clickish. PAY levels are very low.

    Advice to Management

Hire more men. They are not as insecure. Tell senior mgmt to be more honest and less back stabbing. Gave low rating for comp & benefits, should split up. One can be great while other not so much.

I have been working at Riverview Medical Center full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Building Superintendent over 3 medical buildings and 2 motels and one car wash and other building

    Cons

working for over 16 years seeing one becoming good , but than after follow instructions with insults against others, becoming a bully by following that instructions with insults against others, from ONE bully who dream up every think bad behind ones back , that he can give out insult's up on insults, this bully is all talk, and very litter work. That causes all who follow him to alter good WORK skills and alter good qualities, this back strapping instructions with insults creates a bully hate in the work place, all thou this bully learned to be kind to ones face, but with instructions with insults behind your back.

    Advice to Management

Never ever give glory to the one who practice giving instructions out with insults against others. This path will alter good qualities, and could promote ever kind of badness, Gen.3:1-5 and cause those that follow the instructions with insults to think there eyes are open Gen.3:7; to the truth , but are blind to what is good, as they practice altering good qualities in hard workers 1Pet.2:21; One bad apply given glory to, could create many bullies in the work place.

I have been working at Riverview Medical Center part-time

    Pros

Riverview's friendly and comforting environment, along with their dedicated and hardworking staff, made every day feel like a success to work there and a pleasure to be a part of.

    Cons

Riverview was a busy place of work, with new issues arising because of patient care each day, but the staff and service knew exactly how to deal with each obstacle.

    Advice to Management

Continue to grow the environment and staff as you have, it has been a wonderful experience and I am excited that others will be able to share that as well.
