I have been working at Robert Half for more than a year

    Pros

More responsive than any of the other six staffing agencies I conducted my job search with. They clearly cared about placing me with a contract role. Senior management has been accessible and helpful in my experience.

    Cons

Holiday pay don't kick in until one continuous year of contracted work.

I worked at Robert Half full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Project based work, full-time salary regardless of assignment, good benefits & PTO structure, responsive admin staff. Good way to experience different companies & industries & gain experience.

    Cons

With minor exceptions, Staffing Managers' sole interest is the commission they get for placement. They do not take the time to care about whether the assignment is a good fit or how the Consultant is being treated. If you have a lot of experience you will be overly used. Low pay because the profit margin requirements are tremendously high (billed at 3x what salary was). You cannot get a raise while you are on assignment because they don't want to pass the additional billing expense on to the client nor will they absorb it (They also do not retro it).
