I worked at Robert Half part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very helpful in time of need to find a temporary income. Most of the staff is professional and push really hard to find a temp role

    Cons

Difficult to get a permanent placing. They are mostly inclined to find temp jobs. Then not many oppotunities after the first couple placements

    Advice to Management

Do not hold back employees just to make additional money off them

    Pros

Hourly rate isn't bad, if you can actually get them to release your pay to you.

    Cons

Recruiters offer the standard temp promises in the five minute interview and don't deliver on them. My recruiter screwed up a one day temp job that was actually for longer, and blamed me for her mistake. No response to emails after her screw up so I've been ghosted and left without pay for the work that I did.

    Advice to Management

Your recruiters need people skills. Temps are your whole business and when your recruiters treat them badly your business will suffer because you'll have no staff to offer to companies. Maybe some more customer service and people skills training is required.

I worked at Robert Half as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Employees who train you really teach you a lot so you get to learn basic technical skills. If the miserable directors weren't such degrading bullies, you may actually care enough to help.

    Cons

Unprofessional, Toxic, you leave work depressed if your directors had a bad day in their home life and brought it to the office that day. They want to remind you to fear them, so they use any means neccessary. If you don't say hello loud enough they will confront or remind you they are your boss and you must respect them or theyll fire you. A lot of employees don't known their rights, or possess many qualifications to get hired at just any place, so they're afraid to speak up. People walk around in pajamas as well as barefoot in a customer facing setting. The one "H.R." lady is scared of the director so what is she going to do?

    Advice to Management

Treat employees like humans. Stop belittling and learn to pull people aside in a private office to discuss any mishaps. Hopefully the Board can make changes to and replace the Executive Director and rest of the management.

I have been working at Robert Half as a contractor

    Pros

Being a contractor definitely affords a sense of freedom. The guy I'm working with at Robert Half is great. They've helped me with anything I've needed.

    Cons

The health insurance isn't great. It's actually terrible, but also cheap so can't complain. It's nice they do have a 401K plan though. No match but they do pay for it.

I worked at Robert Half full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I can't think of anything worth writing about

    Cons

There aren't any real employee incentives. The Admins aren't offered overtime or bonuses and the salaries are extremely low.

I have been working at Robert Half full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Commitment to new hires, great training

    Cons

Stressful and very fast paced. Get used to seeing coworkers let go because they are not meeting expectations. Management works with them to improve but eventually, it is not in either parties interest to continue working in a sales job if you are not making money.

    Advice to Management

    "Temp Work"

I have been working at Robert Half part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great network of companies for temp work, building up your resume, and to network.

    Cons

Takes forever to find an assignment even when you are more than qualified. Staff seem to have very little knowledge of industries and careers which they are recruiting and seem to overlook qualified people.
I have seen a resume which one of the recruiters rewrote for me, for some reason, and was filled with spelling errors, I guess I now know why I never heard back from 90% of the jobs I've applied.

    Advice to Management

Hire staff from within the career fields they are recruiting for: i.e. a finance recruiter should have some experience in finance. An accountant recruiter should have experience in accounting, etc...
