I have been working at Robert Half full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Great people! We go to happy hours, have offsite team building events and volunteer at local non-profits. - No shortage of training - lots of tenured folks in the office to shadow/ask for advice - Robert Half invests a lot of money in technology and gives you the best tools to make your job easier

    Cons

Like any sales job, it's a grind but you have the opportunity to make a lot of money!

    I worked at Robert Half

    Pros

Good start, big company with a name behind it. You can make really good money and meet some great people in your area.

    Cons

Culture is horrid. Toxic, everyone is worried about their desk and their desk only. Management has to perform if your DD is doing bad they will take it out on the team. They will pin each Division against each other. The politics is horrible. If you do not play politics things will end bad. You think you have all the tools to be successful but once you go to a real recruiting company you realize how cheap RH is.... The technology out there to recruit each job board at once instead of individual is so helpful. You will find better commission structures elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Stop making your mid management perform. Let them manage and get the right people into management not the most successful or the person that has been their the longest.

    Pros

amazing access to training resources, great people to work with, offices all over the US

    Cons

11 hr work day, constant grind, very competitive, lots of phone/office time

    Advice to Management

invest more in your entire offices, not just the people grossing $1m+ . many of the offices are outdated, and overall not comfortable.
