Pros
Great work life balance Importance to family Very comfortable for expecting/ new/ existing moms Diverse race and gender wise
Cons
Minimal benefits Minimal growth opportunities Low salaries - and the reason they gave is that you value work life balance so you have to compromise somewhere (pretty lame)

Best Recruitment company to work for, unbeatable culture and people
Apr 8, 2014 - Division Manager in SydneyRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Culture - rewards, excellent banter and atmosphere, given autonomy and responsibility Salary and compensation Open door management and fairly flat structure - everyone is approachable and helpful The tenure of the team - everyone is there because they want to be and is highly motivated in their role, this is infectious
Cons
it's a sales job so there is always going to be the challenge of maintaining work life balance - the team are very social and many get along outside of work which i think balances this.

Wonderful company that provides top-notch service to their candidates and clients!
Oct 7, 2019 - Recruiting ManagerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Highly customer service oriented company, helps people from all levels of professional background to find positions to meet their current needs and/or help them grow, gives back and partners with local communities! Partners with Veterans and their families! Awesome company values! Empowers employees to make as much money as they want depending on how hard their willing to work (commission based sales bonuses).
Cons
Internal company culture is very dependant on the leadership in that local market, can be good or very poor. Company values aren't always the number one priority... Often times the focus falls from helping clients and candidates to how much money can 'I' make on this deal... very transactional rather than relational focus. Work/Life balance can be very challenging in the first several years while developing your book of business.

Pros
Good culture and friendly environment. Coworkers are nice
Cons
Sometimes very micromanaged and or work life balance is hard to maintain.

Pros
If you are a workaholic who is not affected by constant degradation and abuse you will do well. A couple of the other teams outside of legal did not seem as toxic.
Cons
Recruiting is highly competitive and fast paced industry, however, this was a very toxic place to work. The culture is setup so that everyone is constantly terrified of losing their jobs or getting yelled at. In order to combat this, people on your own team resort to undermining you, throwing you under the bus, stealing from you, and even taking credit for your work just to stay afloat. Therefore, you cannot trust anyone you work with. Managers are also getting heavy pressure and abuse flowing down from the top and in turn use those same abusive tactics to try to get their teams to perform better. No matter how well you perform, even exceeding your goals, it is never good enough. Work life balance did not exist as you often HAVE to work late and on your days off in order to keep up with deadlines. They have the highest turnover I have ever seen partly because they have impossible expectations and aggressively & abusively pressure workers to deliver the impossible- But also because so many people burn out. I saw a lot of people have complete breakdowns at work and many people would leave the office crying almost everyday.

Great company to be a part of!
Mar 15, 2017 - Associate Recruiter (Creative) in London, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The people! Everyone at Robert Half is extremely friendly and professional, they really make you feel welcome and part of the team. There are regular company updates and training to give you the building blocks to help support & grow your career. Neil Owen Director of Technology at Robert Half is a great motivational leader and was very supportive during my time at RH as well as my line manager Head of Marketing Tom Sherwood.
Cons
The hours are probably longer than some other recruitment companies but you've got to put the time in to get results I guess, especially in the beginning when you're establishing yourself. If you're looking for a work life balance however perhaps recruitment isn't for you.

Pros
Time off, when you’re allowed to use it. Learning about new businesses.
Cons
Constant sharing of hiring trends to clients that they refuse to practice themselves. They go on and on about work life balance then micromanage every second of your day; work life balance in this organization is a myth. Leadership constantly changing, never a good sign. Great technology but outdated business practices. Cheesy over the top sales pitches to use (or else) that are cookie cutter and basic. Managers aren’t actually managers, they are people who hit sales targets and were promoted, no clue how to impact a team.

Great Training, Terrible Comp Plan
May 18, 2020 - Staffing ManagerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Company is all about training, which is a great when breaking into the business. They like individuals who do not have industry experience as it help to mold them to exactly what they want. They do recaps on a constant basis. Trust employees and their abilities.
Cons
Company works in 'TEAMS,' some people have to carry others and even then issues are brought up to management situations are not alleviated. Because of companies '18 month training' and need to reduce employee turnover, employees that lack drive and interest in the job are not let go and other team members are left frustrated. Comp plans are not addecuetly explained at the time of hiring. You have to know what questions to ask in order to get answers, otherwise nothing is divulged for transparency. In order to 'bonus' it is almost impossible and many leave due to this for other higher compensating jobs. No work/ life balance although it is 'promoted' I worked from 7:30 to 6:00 and no lunch due to company culture.

Great career path if you work hard, a little misleading regarding commission structure
Nov 11, 2017 - Recruiting ManagerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great company to work for if you work hard. Room for growth and advancement, pretty good culture, management is nice for the most part.
Cons
It will take time to grow your book of business. The base salary is low compared to other agencies. A little bit of micromanagement by leadership. Boards twice a day are a waste of time. A little misleading regarding the commission structure work/life balance is pretty good but expected to be there at 8 AM and usually stay until 5:30. The benefits are reasonable but are not fully paid for like at some other companies.
