I have been working at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway part-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

Used to be a close knit unit

      Cons

Lowest paid paramedics in the state. Stay away!!!! They have no interest in paying their paramedics; only lining their pockets. It's a damn shame. Used to be a great place to work. Morale is at an all time low; open shifts every single day. No way this can keep operating the way it has been.

      Advice to Management

Need raises or you will continue to receive mediocre employees and staff. Poor morale due to poor management.

I have been working at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway full-time

      Pros

Many good coworkers, many people who have worked there for a very long time. Get to know and trust the people you work with. Nice cafeteria in the building.

      Cons

Higher administration is not involved in understanding how the day to day life on the hospital floor is like, they want to cut staffing but don't know what that means to the employees and patients.

      Advice to Management

Please take a look around to see how staffing cuts affect everyone and have communications, need to communicate a lot more rather than just sit in your office
